Abstract
【解決手段】内燃機関が運転点に基づいて、第1の排気開放期間及び第2の排気開放期間を実施する排気カムにより運転され、該第2の排気開放期間を吸気開放期間中に開始されるようにし、かつ圧縮点火モードにおいて第1の運転点において、燃焼室内の排ガス残留量を、吸気弁と排気弁との間で給気交換中に調節されるバルブアンダーラップに基づいて調節し、圧縮点火モードにおける第2の運転点において、燃焼室内の排ガス残留量を、第2の排気開放期間の継続時間に基づいて調節するようにした。

Claims (11)
- 内燃機関を運転する方法であって、該内燃機関が、それぞれ吸気弁、排気弁及び燃焼室が配設されている複数のシリンダと、カム軸調節装置に接続される吸気カム軸と、カム軸調節装置に接続される排気カム軸と、それぞれの吸気弁を操作するために複数の吸気カムを備える切換可能な吸気弁動弁機構と、それぞれの排気弁を操作するために複数の排気カムを備える切換可能な排気弁動弁機構と、排ガス装置とを備え、
前記内燃機関が運転点に基づいて圧縮点火又は外部点火により運転され、かつ
圧縮点火のために所定の排ガス残留量が前記燃焼室内に調節される、
内燃機関を運転する方法において、
前記内燃機関が運転点に基づいて、第1の排気開放期間及び第2の排気開放期間を実施する排気カムにより運転され、該第2の排気開放期間が吸気開放期間中に開始されるようにし、かつ
圧縮点火モードにおける第1の運転点において、前記燃焼室内の排ガス残留量を、前記吸気弁と前記排気弁との間でガス交換中に調節されるバルブアンダーラップに基づいて調節し、
圧縮点火モードにおける第2の運転点において、前記燃焼室内の排ガス残留量を、前記第2の排気開放期間の継続時間に基づいて調節する、
ことを特徴とする、内燃機関を運転する方法。 - 前記第1の運転点から前記第2の運転点へ及び前記第2の運転点から前記第1の運転点への切換中、内燃機関を外部点火により運転することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記排ガス装置に排ガス背圧調節装置を設けて、該排ガス背圧調節装置によって前記排ガス装置の排ガスマニホールド内の排ガス背圧を運転点に基づいて変更することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼室内の排ガス残留量を前記排ガス背圧調節装置の状態に基づいて調節することを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記吸気弁及び前記排気弁を前記圧縮点火モードの第2の運転点において、前記排ガス装置から前記燃焼室内に所定の量の排ガスが吸い戻されるように制御することを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記排気弁動弁機構及び前記吸気弁動弁機構を、運転点に基づいて排気側及び吸気側でそれぞれ異なる弁ストローク及び/又はそれぞれ異なる制御時間が調節されるように形成することを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法を実施するための内燃機関において、前記排気弁動弁機構に、複数のカムを備えるスライドカム装置が設けられており、少なくとも1つの排気カムが、2つの排気開放期間を調節するためのデュアルカムとして形成されており、前記吸気弁動弁機構が、複数のカムを備えるスライドカム装置を有することを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 前記排ガス背圧調節装置が排ガスフラップとして形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の内燃機関。
- 前記排ガス背圧調節装置が前記排ガス装置内で排ガス触媒の下流に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項7又は8記載の内燃機関。
- 前記排ガス背圧調節装置が前記排ガス装置内で排ガスタービンへの入口の上流に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項7から9までのいずれか1項記載の内燃機関。
- 排ガス背圧の調節が排ガス式ターボチャージャの可変のタービンジオメトリにより実施されることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の内燃機関。
