Claims (4)
- グロス効果を印刷文書に定めるための方法であって、
塗りつぶされた色の文書領域を、用紙に、前記塗りつぶされた色の文書領域のグロスマークオブジェクトを定める第1の着色剤の組み合わせを用いて且つ前記塗りつぶされた色の文書領域のバックグラウンドを定める第2の着色剤の組み合わせを用いて印刷するステップを含み、
ここで、前記第1及び第2の着色剤の組み合わせは、条件等色のカラー対であって、前記グロスマークオブジェクトと前記バックグラウンドとが組み合わさって、前記塗りつぶされた色の文書領域を、該塗りつぶされた色の文書領域の表面区域全体に亘り一様な単一の色外観を有するように定めており、前記第1の着色剤の組み合わせは前記用紙に第1の着色剤のスタック高さを定め、且つ、前記第2の着色剤の組み合わせは前記用紙に第2の着色剤のスタック高さを定めており、
ここで、前記第2の着色剤のスタック高さは、前記第1の着色剤のスタック高さよりも、少なくとも2:1の着色剤のスタック高さの差だけ大きく、前記グロスマークオブジェクトと前記バックグラウンドは、前記用紙に、それぞれ第1及び第2の物理的な厚さを備えるように、且つ、前記塗りつぶされた色の文書領域は、真っ直ぐ見たときに第1の外観を有し、斜めに見たときに第2の外観を有するようになっていることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第2の着色剤のスタック高さは、前記第1の着色剤のスタック高さよりも、少なくとも2.5:1の着色剤のスタック高さの差だけ大きい、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の着色剤の組み合わせは、ブラックの着色剤だけを含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 塗りつぶされた色の文書領域を、用紙に、前記塗りつぶされた色の文書領域のグロスマークオブジェクトを定める第1の着色剤の組み合わせを用いて且つ前記塗りつぶされた色の文書領域のバックグラウンドを定める第2の着色剤の組み合わせを用いて印刷する前記ステップは、
前記グロスマークオブジェクトを、3ポイント又はそれより小さいサイズを有するフォント文字の形状で印刷することを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
