Abstract
【解決手段】エポキシ樹脂と、硬化剤と、金属補足能を有する化合物と、反応誘起相分離性能及びポロゲンとなる機能を有する重合溶液と、を含む混合溶液を、成形型内に注入し、成形型内で注入された混合溶液のエポキシ樹脂を重合させて、得られた重合物中から前記重合溶液を除去して金属補足能を有する化合物が組み込まれたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリスを得たのち、金属補足能を有する化合物が組み込まれたエポキシ樹脂系モノリス成形体に触媒金属イオンを含む溶液を含浸させ、その後、触媒金属イオンを還元してエポキシ樹脂系モノリスの骨格表面に触媒金属を析出させて、カラム状をしたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリスの骨格表面に触媒金属が担持されているカラムリアクターを得るようにした。

Description
しかも、エポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリスを用いたので、粒子充填型高速液体クロマトグラフィー用カラムに比べ、膨潤の問題も少なく、強度的に優れ、カラムリアクターとしての機能を安定して発揮できる。
また、成形型内で重合反応させて三次元網目構造多孔体を得ることができる、すなわち、閉空間内でも製造することができるので、成形型として閉空間となるカラムの被覆部となるものを用いれば、そのままカラムリアクターとして使用できる。しかも、径も自由に選択できマイクロリアクターとしても利用することができる。
エポキシ樹脂と硬化剤の組み合わせは、大きく分類すると、芳香族エポキシ樹脂と芳香族硬化剤の組み合わせ、芳香族エポキシ樹脂と非芳香族硬化剤の組み合わせ、非芳香族エポキシ樹脂と芳香族硬化剤の組み合わせ、非芳香族エポキシ樹脂と非芳香族硬化剤の組み合わせに分けることができる。
尚、エポキシ樹脂と硬化剤は、それぞれ1種類又は2種以上混在して使用してもよい。エポキシ樹脂又は硬化剤のいずれか一方でも芳香族系の原料を用いた場合、得られるエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリスの耐熱性が向上する。
1.1652gのエポキシ樹脂としてのビスフェノールAジグリシジルエーテル(ジャパンエポキシレジン(株)製、以下、「BADGE」という)と、3.6013gの反応誘起相分離性を有するポロゲンである重合溶液としてのポリエチレングリコール(ナカライテスク(株)製、平均分子量200、以下、「PEG200」という)をサンプル瓶に入れ、溶液が均一になるまで混合攪拌した。この溶液に、0.2641gの硬化剤としての4,4’−メチレン−ビス−シクロヘキシルアミン(東京化成工業(株)製、以下、「BACM」という) を加えて、さらに混合攪拌した。
この混合溶液を、成形型としてのフッ素樹脂チューブ(外径6mm, 内径4mm)に流し入れ、140 ℃のオーブンで3時間加熱した。引き続き、150℃で30分間加熱した後、室温で約1時間放置した。フッ素樹脂チューブから重合体(固体)を取り出し、60℃のイオン交換水に約10時間以上浸した後、メタノールにも同様に10時間以上浸した。
その後、乾燥管付きガラスチューブオーブン(130℃、8時間)で真空乾燥し、エポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−aを得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−aの断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図2に示した。
BADGE、PEG200及びBACMの配合量を表1に示す配合量にした以外は、上記実施例1と同様にしてエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−bを得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−bの断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図3に示した。
BADGE、PEG200及びBACMの配合量を表1に示す配合量にした以外は、上記実施例1と同様にしてエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−cを得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−cの断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図4に示した。
1.1652gのBADGEと、0.03gの金属補足能を有する化合物としての6−(フェニルアミノ)−1,3,5−トリアジン−2,4−ジチオール(以下、「TADT」という)を、3.8013gのPEG200に予め溶解させた溶液とをサンプル瓶に入れ、溶液が均一になるまで混合攪拌した。この溶液に、0.2641gのBACMを加えて、さらに混合攪拌した。
この混合溶液を、成形型としてのフッ素樹脂チューブ(外径6mm, 内径4mm)に流し入れ、140 ℃のオーブンで3時間加熱した。引き続き、150℃で30分間加熱した後、室温で約1時間放置した。フッ素樹脂チューブから重合体(固体)を取り出し、60℃のイオン交換水に約10時間以上浸した後、メタノールにも同様に10時間以上浸した。

BADGE、TADT、PEG200及びBACMの配合量を表1に示す配合量にした以外は、上記実施例4と同様にしてエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−2を得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−2の断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図6に示した。
なお、比表面積は、各実施例と同じ配合割合の混合溶液をフッ素樹脂チューブ(外径8mm、内径6mm)内に入れ、オーブンで、140℃, 3時間、さらに150℃, 30分加熱した。オーブンから取り出し、室温で約1時間放置した後、フッ素樹脂チューブから固体を取り出し、で約3cmの長さに切断した後、60℃のイオン交換水に約10時間以上、メタノールにも同様に10時間以上浸した。このモノリスを、乾燥管付きガラスチューブオーブン(130℃)で約8時間真空乾燥後,チッソガス吸着法により測定した。
また、図2〜図4から、PEG200の量が多くなると共に厚いモノリス壁を持つモノリスが形成されることがわかる。また、図5及び図6からTADTの添加量を変化させて作製したモノリスについては、TADTの添加量が多くなるにつれて緻密な骨格構造を形成することがわかる。
実施例4と同様にしてエポキシ樹脂系モノリス2−b−1を得る重合過程における重合の完了時間を以下のようにIRスペクトルの測定により調べた。
実施例4と同様にして得た表1に示す実施例4と同様の組成にした反応前の混合溶液のとし、まず、この反応前の混合溶液のIRスペクトルの測定を行った。次に、この混合溶液を長さ約15cm(外径6mm、内径4mm)のフッ素樹脂チューブ内に入れ、140℃のオーブンで加熱を開始した。加熱開始から30分、60分、120分、180分ごとにオーブンからチューブを取り出し、チューブごと切断した。そして切断片の切り口からにじみ出る溶液のIRスペクトルを測定し、その結果を図7に示した。
図7に示すように、重合前の溶液に含まれていたBADGEのエポキシ環の吸収が、重合時間が進むにつれて減少している。そして、180分後のスペクトルから、エポキシ基の吸収がみられるが、重合開始から120分と180分のスペクトルを重ねても吸収の強度は変わらず、エポキシが減少した様子はみられなかった。このことから120分で重合が完了するものと判断できる。
実施例4で得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−1について熱分解挙動を熱重量分析(TG−DTA)により求め、その結果を図8に示した。図8に示すように、0℃から200℃までは目立った重量減少は見られず、なだらかに重量減少していることが分かった。
1.001gのエポキシ樹脂としての分子内にエポキシ基を4つ持つ、1,3−ビス(N,N−ジグリシジルアミノメチル)シクロヘキサン(三菱ガス化学(株)製、以下、「TETRAD−C」という)と、3.795gのPEG2003.795gとをサンプル瓶に入れ、溶液が均一になるまで混合攪拌した。この溶液に、BACM 0.502gを入れ、さらに混合攪拌した。
この混合溶液を、成形型としてのフッ素樹脂チューブ(外径6mm, 内径4mm)に流し入れ、140 ℃のオーブンで3時間加熱した。引き続き、150℃で30分間加熱した後、室温で約1時間放置した。フッ素樹脂チューブから重合体(固体)を取り出し、60℃のイオン交換水に約10時間以上浸した後、メタノールにも同様に10時間以上浸した。
その後、乾燥管付きガラスチューブオーブン(130℃、8時間)で真空乾燥し、エポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−dを得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−dの断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図9に示した。
1.001gのTETRAD−Cと、0.022gのTADTを、3.802gのPEG200に予め溶解させた溶液とをサンプル瓶に入れ、溶液が均一になるまで混合攪拌した。この溶液に、0.503gのBACMを加えて、さらに混合攪拌した。
この混合溶液を、成形型としてのフッ素樹脂チューブ(外径6mm, 内径4mm)に流し入れ、140 ℃のオーブンで3時間加熱した。引き続き、150℃で30分間加熱した後、室温で約1時間放置した。フッ素樹脂チューブから重合体(固体)を取り出し、60℃のイオン交換水に約10時間以上浸した後、メタノールにも同様に10時間以上浸した。
その後、乾燥管付きガラスチューブオーブン(130℃、8時間)で真空乾燥し、エポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−1を得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−1の断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図10に示した。
TETRAD−C、TADT、PEG200及びBACMの配合量を表2に示す配合量にした以外は、上記実施例9と同様にしてエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−2を得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−2の断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図11に示した。
TETRAD−C、TADT、PEG200及びBACMの配合量を表2に示す配合量にした以外は、上記実施例9と同様にしてエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−3を得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−3の断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図12に示した。
TETRAD−C、TADT、PEG200及びBACMの配合量を表2に示す配合量にした以外は、上記実施例9と同様にしてエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−4を得た。
そして、得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−4の断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五千倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図13に示した。
また、上記実施例8で得たエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d、実施例10で得たエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−2、及び実施例12で得たエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−4についてそれぞれ上記と同様の方法で比表面積を求めその結果を併せて表2に示した。
実施例10で得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−2について熱分解挙動を熱重量分析(TG−DTA)により求め、その結果を図13に示した。図14に示すように、50℃〜60℃ 付近にかけて重量が減少しているのは、モノリス内部に残っていた溶媒の蒸発が、原因であると考えられる。また、100℃から160℃付近においては、重量減少がほとんどないことがわかった。
すなわち、エポキシ樹脂としてBADGEを用いたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−1に比べ、エポキシ樹脂としてTETRAD−Cを用いたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−2の方が、160℃付近まで熱的に安定で、熱分解開始温度が高く、耐熱性に優れていることがわかる。
実施例4と同様にして混合溶液をチューブ内で重合させたのち、チューブごと5cmにカットして、このエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−1が入った状態のカットしたチューブをコネクタ(異形ジョイント、株式会社サンプラテック製)にセットした。そして、シリンジポンプを使用して、60℃条件下、15mlのイオン交換水を2ml/hでチュー85mlのイオン交換水を10ml/hで続けて送液した。後に、室温下、50mlのアセトンを10ml/hで送液し、続いて20mlのアセトンとテトラヒドロフランの混合溶媒(7:3)(以下、「混合溶媒A」という)を4ml/hで送液した。すなわち、これらの溶液をそれぞれ送液することで、重合未反応物および、溶媒のPEG200を除去した。
次に、上記のようにしてチューブ内のエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−1を洗浄したのち、60℃条件下、16mlの触媒金属イオンを含む溶液としてのPd(CH3COO)2溶液[Pd(CH3COO)20.5mg/上記混合溶媒1ml]を1ml/hで、18mlのPd(CH3COO)2溶液[Pd(CH3COO)20.5mg/上記混合溶媒1ml]を2ml/hで、100mlのPd(CH3COO)2溶液[Pd(CH3COO)20.5mg/上記混合溶媒A1ml]を4ml/hで連続して送液し、Pd(II)イオンを骨格表面に配位させた。
続いて、混合溶媒Aを4ml/hで10mlをチューブ内に送液して洗浄を行った。そして,60℃条件下で、NaBH415.2mg/H2O1mlを混合溶媒A5mlで溶解した5mlの還元剤溶液を2ml/hでチューブ内に送液し、次いで、50mlのNaBH420.0mg/H2O10mlの還元剤溶液を20ml/hで送液しPd(II)イオンの還元を行った。
さらに、60℃条件下で、HClの0.5mol/l水溶液を20ml/hでチューブ内に送液し、洗浄を行って、本発明のカラムリアクターサンプルを得た。
また、エポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−1表面上でのPdの存在を確認するために、Pd(II)イオン吸着前、吸着後、還元後のそれぞれのモノリスの表面分析をESCA(X線光電子分析装置)により行い、ESCAワイドスキャンスペクトルを、図15に示した。
図15に示すように、Pd(II)吸着前のモノリスには、Pdの光電子ピークは観測されなかったが、Pd(II)イオン吸着後、還元後のモノリスには、Pdの光電子ピークが観測された。このことから、Pd(II)イオンの吸着およびPd(0)の生成が確認できた。
また、得られたカラムリアクターサンプルのエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス部分の断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五万倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図16に示した。
そして、比較のために、エポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−1の断面形状を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて五万倍に拡大して撮影し、その写真の写しを図17に示した。
図16及び図17を比較すると、Pd(0)を担持前の図17に示すエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−b−1は、骨格表面が平滑であるのに対し、図16に示すように、担持後は、骨格表面が小さいが凸凹しており、明らかにPd(0)のナノ粒子が担持されていることがわかる。
実施例10と同様にして混合溶液をチューブ内で重合させたのち、実施例14と同様にして重合未反応物および、溶媒のPEG200を除去した。
次に、室温で、20mlのPd(CH3COO)2溶液[Pd(CH3COO)20.5mg/混合溶媒1ml]を1ml/hでチューブ内に送液し、Pd(II)イオンを骨格表面に配位させた。
続いて、室温で、20mlのNaBH420.0mg/H2O10mlの還元剤溶液を1ml/hで送液しPd(II)イオンの還元を行った。
さらに、60℃条件下で、30mlのHCl0.5mol/l水溶液を5ml/hでチューブ内に送液したのち、30mlのイオン交換水を5ml/hで送液し、洗浄を行って、本発明のカラムリアクターサンプルを得た。
また、Pd担持前であるエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−2と担持後の得られたカラムリアクターサンプルのTG曲線を求め、その結果を図18に示した。
図18に示すように、それぞれのモノリスの熱分解後の灰分残渣の値を比較すると、Pd(0)担持前では、1.80重量%、担持後では、25.0重量%であった。この二つの数値の差23.2重量%であり、この値がPd(0)の含有率であると考えられる。
実施例15で得られたカラムリアクターサンプルと、背圧コントロールカラムとしてのPd担持前の実施例10で得られたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリス2−d−2からなるカラムを、シリンジポンプに接続した。
そして、カラムリアクターの温度が130℃になるまで、反応溶媒のエタノールを3ml/hで送液した。
温度センサーが130℃で安定した後、原料溶液(組成比は、パラヨード安息香酸エチル2.40mmol、スチレン3.61mmol、トリエチルアミン3.64mmol、エタノール10ml)を1ml/hの送液スピードで計3ml送液し、カラムリアクターサンプル内で以下の反応式のとおり、Heck反応を行わせた。
そして、溶出液中から再結晶により単離した化合物の,質量スペクトル分析,および赤外吸収スペクトルの結果から上記反応式に示すスチルベン誘導体の生成を確認した。
Claims (7)
- カラム状をしたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリスの骨格表面に触媒金属が担持されていることを特徴とするカラムリアクター。
- 触媒金属が貴金属である請求項1に記載のカラムリアクター。
- 触媒金属が、パラジウム,白金,ロジウムのいずれかである請求項2に記載のカラムリアクター。
- エポキシ樹脂と、硬化剤と、金属補足能を有する化合物と、反応誘起相分離性能及びポロゲンとなる機能を有する重合溶液と、を含む混合溶液を、成形型内に注入する工程と、
前記成形型内で注入された混合溶液のエポキシ樹脂を重合させる重合工程と、
重合工程で得られた重合物中から前記重合溶液を除去して金属補足能を有する化合物が組み込まれたエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリスを得る工程と、
金属補足能を有する化合物が組み込まれたエポキシ樹脂系モノリス成形体に触媒金属イオンを含む溶液を含浸させたのち、触媒金属イオンを還元してエポキシ樹脂系モノリスの骨格表面に触媒金属を析出させてエポキシ樹脂系ポリマーモノリスに担持させる工程と、を備えることを特徴とするカラムリアクターの製造方法。 - 金属補足能を有する化合物がトリアジンチオール誘導体である請求項4に記載のカラムリアクターの製造方法。
- 触媒金属イオンが、パラジウム,白金,ロジウムのいずれかの元素を含むイオンである請求項4または5に記載のカラムリアクターの製造方法。
- 成形型がカラムの被覆部となることを特徴とする請求項4〜請求項6のいずれかに記載のカラムリアクターの製造方法。
