Abstract
【解決手段】絶縁性のベース基板11上に配置され、保護対象機器の電力供給経路に接続されて所定の異常電力により溶断する可溶導体13と、可溶導体13表面に塗布されたフラックス19と、可溶導体13を覆ってベース基板11に取り付けられた絶縁カバー14とを有する。絶縁カバー14は、可溶導体13に対向した透孔から成る開口部20を備える。開口部20の周縁部にフラックス19が接触して、フラックス19を可溶導体13上の所定の位置に保持する。

Claims (5)
- 絶縁性のベース基板上に配置され保護対象機器の電力供給経路に接続されて所定の異常電力により溶断する可溶導体と、前記可溶導体を所定の空間を介して覆って前記ベース基板に取り付けられた絶縁カバーと、前記可溶導体表面に塗布され前記空間内に位置したフラックスとを有し、前記保護対象機器に前記異常電力が供給された場合に、前記可溶導体が溶断してその電流経路を遮断する保護素子において、
前記可溶導体に対向して前記絶縁カバーに透孔から成る開口部が形成され、この開口部の周縁部に前記フラックスが接触して、前記フラックスを前記可溶導体上で前記空間内の所定の位置に保持可能に設けられたことを特徴とする保護素子。 - 前記開口部は、前記絶縁カバーの中央部に形成され、前記可溶導体中央部と対面して形成されている請求項1記載の保護素子。
- 前記開口部は、前記絶縁カバーに複数形成されている請求項1記載の保護素子。
- 前記開口部は、前記絶縁カバーの中央部に形成され前記可溶導体中央部と対面した大径の開口部と、その周囲に形成された複数の小径の開口部から成る請求項1記載の保護素子。
- 前記開口部は、透明なフィルムで覆われている請求項1乃至4の何れか記載の保護素子。
