Abstract
【解決手段】メタノールを用いた遊離脂肪酸のエステル化方法。本方法は、(a)不均一エステル化触媒を反応器内でエステル化に好適な条件下で、(i)メタノールおよび(ii)70〜99.8重量%のトリグリセリドと0.2〜30重量%の遊離脂肪酸とを含むトリグリセリド混合物:を含む反応混合物と接触させて、生成物流れを生じさせる工程;(b)生成物流れから水およびメタノールを分離して、乾燥生成物流れを生じさせる工程;(c)乾燥生成物流れをメタノールと接触させて、メタノール富化相およびトリグリセリド富化相を生じさせる工程;並びに(d)メタノール富化相を分離してそれを反応器に再循環させる工程;を有する。

Description
本発明は、さらに、メタノールを用いたトリグリセリド中の遊離脂肪酸のエステル化方法であって、(a)不均一エステル化触媒を、第1反応器内でエステル化に好適な条件下で、(i)メタノールおよび(ii)70〜99.8重量%のトリグリセリドと0.2〜30重量%の遊離脂肪酸とを含むトリグリセリド混合物:を含む反応混合物と接触させて、第1生成物流れを生じさせる工程;(b)第1生成物流れから水およびメタノールを分離して、乾燥第1生成物流れを生じさせる工程;(c)乾燥第1生成物流れを、工程(f)からのメタノール含有再循環相と接触させて、第1メタノール富化相および第1トリグリセリド富化相を生じさせる工程;(d)第1メタノール富化相を分離して、それを第1反応器に再循環させる工程;(e)第1トリグリセリド富化相を第2反応器内でエステル化に好適な条件下で、不均一エステル化触媒と接触させて、第2生成物流れを生じさせる工程;並びに(f)第2生成物流れをメタノール含有相および第2トリグリセリド富化相に分離して、メタノール含有層を工程(c)に再循環させる工程;を含む方法に関する。
本発明の別の実施形態においては、本方法は(g)第2トリグリセリド富化相をメタノールと接触させて、第2メタノール富化相および最終トリグリセリド層を生じさせる工程;並びに(h)第2メタノール富化相を分離して、それを第2反応器に再循環させる工程;をさらに含む。
Claims (10)
- メタノールを用いたトリグリセリド中の遊離脂肪酸のエステル化方法であって、
(a)不均一エステル化触媒を、反応器内でエステル化に好適な条件下で、(i)メタノールおよび(ii)70〜99.8重量%のトリグリセリドと0.2〜30重量%の遊離脂肪酸とを含むトリグリセリド混合物:を含む反応混合物と接触させて、生成物流れを生じさせる工程;
(b)生成物流れから水およびメタノールを分離して、乾燥生成物流れを生じさせる工程;
(c)乾燥生成物流れをメタノールと接触させて、メタノール富化相およびトリグリセリド富化相を生じさせる工程;並びに
(d)メタノール富化相を分離して、それを反応器に再循環させる工程;
を含む方法。 - トリグリセリド混合物が80重量%〜99.5重量%のトリグリセリドと0.5重量%〜20重量%の遊離脂肪酸とを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 生成物流れの水分含有量が少なくとも70重量%低減される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- トリグリセリド富化相が、第2反応器内でエステル化に好適な条件下で、不均一エステル化触媒と接触させられて、第2生成物流れを生じさせる、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 乾燥第1生成物流れが、当該乾燥生成物流れとメタノールとの合計の3重量%〜40重量%の量のメタノールと接触させられる、請求項4に記載の方法。
- (e)第2生成物流れから水およびメタノールを分離して、乾燥第2生成物流れを生じさせる工程;
(f)乾燥第2生成物流れをメタノールと接触させて、第2メタノール富化相および第2トリグリセリド富化相を生じさせる工程;並びに
(g)第2メタノール富化相を分離して、それを第2反応器に再循環させる工程;
をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。 - メタノールを用いたトリグリセリド中の遊離脂肪酸のエステル化方法であって、
(a)不均一エステル化触媒を、第1反応器内でエステル化に好適な条件下で、(i)メタノールおよび(ii)70〜99.8重量%のトリグリセリドと0.2〜30重量%の遊離脂肪酸とを含むトリグリセリド混合物:を含む反応混合物と接触させて、第1生成物流れを生じさせる工程;
(b)第1生成物流れから水およびメタノールを分離して、乾燥第1生成物流れを生じさせる工程;
(c)乾燥第1生成物流れを、工程(f)からのメタノール含有再循環混合物と接触させて、第1メタノール富化相および第1トリグリセリド富化相を生じさせる工程;
(d)第1メタノール富化相を分離して、それを第1反応器に再循環させる工程;
(e)第1トリグリセリド富化相を第2反応器内でエステル化に好適な条件下で、不均一エステル化触媒と接触させて、第2生成物流れを生じさせる工程;並びに
(f)第2生成物流れをメタノール含有相および第2トリグリセリド富化相に分離して、メタノール含有層を工程(c)に再循環させる工程;
を含む方法。 - 最終トリグリセリド相が、第3反応器内でエステル交換に好適な条件下で、アルコールと接触させられる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- トリグリセリド混合物が80重量%〜99.5重量%のトリグリセリドと0.5重量%〜20重量%の遊離脂肪酸とを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- (g)第2トリグリセリド富化相をメタノールと接触させて、第2メタノール富化相および最終トリグリセリド層を生じさせる工程;並びに
(h)第2メタノール富化相を分離して、それを第2反応器に再循環させる工程;
をさらに含む請求項9に記載の方法。
