Abstract
【解決手段】小径段部2bを径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部2cによりハブ輪2に対して内輪3が軸方向に固定された車輪用軸受装置において、ハブ輪2が、Cが0.50〜0.70wt%、Mnが0.1〜2.0wt%、Crが1.0wt%以下、Sが0.02wt%以下、Siが0.2wt%以下を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避不純物を有する中高炭素鋼で形成され、フェライト結晶粒の粒度番号が3以上に設定されると共に、小径段部2cの加締前における内輪3の大端面からの突出量をLa、加締部2cの高さをLbとした時、加締加工による圧下率(La−Lb)/Laが0.55以下に設定されている。

図1は、本発明に係る車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2(a)は、図1の加締加工前の状態を示す要部拡大図、(b)は、図1の加締部を示す要部拡大図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウター側(図1の左側)、中央寄り側をインナー側(図1の右側)という。

Claims (9)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
一端部に車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に所定のシメシロを介して圧入され、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する内側転走面が形成された少なくとも一つの内輪からなる内方部材と、
この内方部材と前記外方部材の両転走面間に保持器を介して転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、
前記小径段部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部により前記ハブ輪に対して前記内輪が軸方向に固定された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記ハブ輪が、炭素0.40〜0.80wt%を含む中高炭素鋼で形成され、フェライト結晶粒の粒度番号が3以上に設定されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記ハブ輪が、Cが0.50〜0.70wt%、Mnが0.1〜2.0wt%、Crが1.0wt%以下を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避不純物を有する中高炭素鋼で形成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪に含有されるSが0.02wt%以下に規制されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪に含有されるSiが0.2wt%以下に規制されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記小径段部の加締前における前記内輪の大端面からの突出量をLa、前記加締部の高さをLbとした時、加締加工による圧下率(La−Lb)/Laが0.55以下に設定されている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪が、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する一方の内側転走面が直接形成され、この内側転走面をはじめ前記車輪取付フランジのインナー側の基部から前記小径段部に亙り高周波焼入れによって表面硬さを58〜64HRCの範囲に硬化処理されると共に、前記加締部が鍛造後の素材表面硬さ13〜30HRCの未焼入れ部とされている請求項1乃至5いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複列の転動体列のうちアウター側の転動体列のピッチ円直径がインナー側の転動体列のピッチ円直径よりも大径に設定されている請求項1乃至6いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複列の転動体のうちアウター側の転動体の個数がインナー側の転動体の個数よりも多く設定されている請求項7に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複列の転動体のうちアウター側の転動体の外径がインナー側の転動体の外径よりも小径に設定されている請求項7または8に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
