Abstract
【解決手段】画素毎にフォトセンサが設けられたタッチパネルの駆動方法において、タッチパネルの表示部に画像を表示し、画像が表示された状態で被検出物の接近または接触を検出して検出領域を決定し、検出領域における各画素の単位時間及び単位面積あたりの光の強度を概ね等しくして被検出物の読み取りを行う。ここで、概ね等しくする各画素の単位時間及び単位面積あたりの光の強度は、調整前の検出領域内の最大の光の強度とすることが好ましく、より好ましくは白表示とする。

Claims (7)
- 画素にフォトセンサが設けられたタッチパネルの駆動方法であって、
表示装置に画像を表示し、
前記画像が表示された状態で被検出物の接近または接触を検出して検出領域を決定し、
前記検出領域における各画素の階調を等しくして前記被検出物の読み取りを行うことを特徴とするタッチパネルの駆動方法。 - 画素にフォトセンサが設けられたタッチパネルの駆動方法であって、
表示装置に画像を表示し、
前記画像が表示された状態で被検出物の接近または接触を検出して検出領域を決定し、
前記検出領域における各画素の階調を前記検出領域に設けられた画素のうち最も明るい画素の階調と等しくして前記被検出物の読み取りを行うことを特徴とするタッチパネルの駆動方法。 - 画素にフォトセンサが設けられたタッチパネルの駆動方法であって、
表示装置に画像を表示し、
前記画像が表示された状態で被検出物の接近または接触を検出して検出領域を決定し、
前記検出領域を白表示として前記被検出物の読み取りを行うことを特徴とするタッチパネルの駆動方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一において、
前記読み取りを行う時の前記検出領域における各画素に供給されるビデオ信号は等しいものであることを特徴とするタッチパネルの駆動方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一に記載の駆動方法により動作することを特徴とするタッチパネル。
- 請求項5において、
前記画素はデルタ配列で配置されていることを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項5または請求項6において、
前記表示装置は液晶表示装置であることを特徴とするタッチパネル。
