Abstract
【解決手段】磁気ヘッドアッセンブリと磁気ディスクを筐体内に組み込んだ磁気ディスク装置において、筐体内の気圧、温度及び湿度の少なくとも一つを検出するセンサと、センサ出力に基づいて磁気ヘッド内の発熱体への供給電流を増減し、ヘッド浮上量を一定に制御する浮上量制御回路とを備える。そして、センサは、筐体内に設け、高温焼成セラミックからなるパッケージにより収容した状態で、磁気ヘッドアッセンブリのフレキシブル配線基板の回路搭載面に実装する。

Claims (4)
- 熱膨張によりヘッド素子部を磁気ディスク側へ突出させる発熱体を備えた磁気ヘッドと、この磁気ヘッドを支持する支持板と、この支持板に沿って設けられ、前記磁気ヘッドと回路系とを電気的に接続するフレキシブル配線基板とを一体に備えた磁気ヘッドアッセンブリを有し、この磁気ヘッドアッセンブリと磁気ディスクを筐体内に組み込んだ磁気ディスク装置において、
前記筐体内の気圧、温度及び湿度の少なくとも一つを検出するセンサと、センサ出力に基づいて前記発熱体への供給電流を増減し、前記磁気ヘッドの浮上量を一定に制御する浮上量制御回路とが設けられており、
前記センサは、高温焼成セラミックからなるパッケージに収容された状態で、前記筐体内の、前記フレキシブル配線基板の回路搭載面に実装されていること、
を特徴とする磁気ディスク装置。 - 請求項1記載の磁気ディスク装置において、前記センサは、気圧センサ、温度センサ及び湿度センサをすべて前記パッケージに収容してなる磁気ディスク装置。
- 請求項1または2記載の磁気ディスク装置において、前記センサは、前記磁気ヘッドの書込再生動作を制御するプリアンプと同一の回路搭載面に実装されている磁気ディスク装置。
- 熱膨張によりヘッド素子部を磁気ディスク側へ突出させる発熱体を備えた磁気ヘッドと、この磁気ヘッドを支持する支持板と、この支持板に沿って設けられ、前記磁気ヘッドと回路系とを電気的に接続するフレキシブル配線基板とを一体に備えた磁気ヘッドアッセンブリを有し、この磁気ヘッドアッセンブリと磁気ディスクを筐体内に組み込んだ磁気ディスク装置において、
前記筐体内の気圧を検出する気圧センサと、センサ出力に基づいて前記発熱体への供給電流を増減し、前記磁気ヘッドの浮上量を一定に制御する浮上量制御回路とが設けられており、
前記気圧センサは、ウエハレベルチップサイズパッケージで構成され、前記筐体内の、前記フレキシブル配線基板の回路搭載面に実装されていること、
を特徴とする磁気ディスク装置。
