Abstract
Description
本発明は、一般に、中隔欠損などの内部組織の欠陥を処置するシステムおよび方法に関する。
内部組織の位置の点で、内部組織の欠陥の治療は本質的に困難である。侵襲的手術により欠陥に接近する場合、高度のリスクを伴い、被験体に重篤な合併症を生じる可能性がある。カテーテルまたは等価なデバイスを使用して離れた場所から欠陥に接近する場合、リスクは低くなるが、カテーテルの物理的能力が限られていることを考慮すると、欠陥自体の処置はより難しくなる。組織の欠陥に接近して処置することの難しさは、欠陥が重要臓器内、または重要臓器付近に見られる場合、倍加する。たとえば、卵円開存(「PFO」)は、心臓の左右の心房間に生じる可能性がある重篤な中隔欠損であり、動脈開存(「PDA」)は、大動脈および肺動脈間の異常な短絡である。
中隔欠損などの内部組織の欠陥を処置するための改善されたデバイスおよびシステムは、本項で一例の実施態様により提供される。これらの実施態様は単なる一例であり、本発明を制限する意図はない。
本明細書には、中隔欠損を処置するための改善されたデバイスおよび方法を記載する。説明しやすくするために、デバイスおよび方法は、PFOの処置に関して説明する。しかし、このデバイスおよび方法は、ADS、VSDなどを含む任意のタイプの中隔欠損、およびPDA、またはその他の構造上の心臓または血管の欠陥の処置に使用することができる。
Claims (20)
- 中隔欠損を処置するためのシステムであって、
長形送達部材と、
隔壁を貫通するように構成された長形ニードル部材と、
インプラント可能なデバイスに当接するように構成された長形プッシャー部材であって、前記インプラント可能なデバイスが、前記隔壁内の中隔欠損を処置するように構成される長形プッシャー部材と、
前記送達部材、前記ニードル部材、および前記プッシャー部材の各々に結合し、これらの各々を制御するように構成された近位の制御デバイスであって、前記近位の制御デバイスが、ユーザによって直接接近可能であるように構成される近位の制御デバイスと
を備えるシステム。 - 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記送達部材、ニードル部材、およびプッシャー部材の各々を手動制御するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記送達部材、ニードル部材、およびプッシャー部材の各々を自動制御するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記送達部材、ニードル部材、およびプッシャー部材のうちの少なくとも1つを制御するように構成された回転可能ノブを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記送達部材、ニードル部材、およびプッシャー部材の各々を制御するように構成された単一の作動装置を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記単一の作動装置に結合される複数のバネを含む、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、作動装置の運動をガイドするように構成された通路を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記ニードル部材に対して前記プッシャー部材の位置を係止するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記送達部材に対して前記ニードル部材の位置を係止するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、前記送達部材に対して前記プッシャー部材の位置を係止するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位の制御デバイスが、
前記送達部材に結合される送達作動装置と、
前記ニードル部材に結合されるニードル作動装置と、
前記プッシャー部材に結合されるプッシャー作動装置と
を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記送達作動装置、ニードル作動装置、およびプッシャー作動装置の各々が、少なくとも部分的に独立して制御可能である、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位のコントローラに固定結合される本体部分をさらに備え、前記本体部分が、被験体の解剖学的構造を固定係合するように構成される、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位のコントローラが、前記送達部材、ニードル部材、およびプッシャー部材のうちの少なくとも1つを、前記本体部分に対して所定の位置に係止するように構成される、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位のコントローラが筐体を備え、前記送達作動装置、ニードル作動装置、およびプッシャー作動装置の各々が、前記筐体内で摺動可能である、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記送達作動装置、ニードル作動装置、およびプッシャー作動装置が各々、前記個々の作動装置の運動を作動させるように構成された押しボタンを含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 医療デバイスを制御するためのコントローラであって、
筐体と、
前記筐体内に摺動可能に収容された第1作動装置であって、前記第1作動装置が、前記筐体に対して少なくとも1つの予め決められた位置に係止可能である第1作動装置と、
前記筐体内に摺動可能に収容された第2作動装置であって、前記第2作動装置が、前記第1作動装置に対して少なくとも1つの位置に係止可能である第2作動装置と
を備え、前記第1作動装置および第2作動装置が、医療デバイスの独立して移動可能な部分に結合されるコントローラ。 - 前記筐体内に摺動可能に収容される第3作動装置をさらに備え、前記第3作動装置が、前記第2作動装置に対して少なくとも1つの位置、および前記筐体に対して少なくとも1つの予め決められた位置に係止可能である、請求項17に記載のコントローラ。
- 中隔欠損の処置を制御するための近位の制御デバイスであって、
ユーザインターフェースと、
医療デバイスの独立して移動可能な部分に各々が結合される複数の制御可能部材であって、前記複数の制御可能部材のうちの少なくとも1つが、前記複数の制御可能部材の少なくとも他の1つに対して所定の位置に係止可能であり、前記制御可能部材の各々が、前記ユーザインターフェースによって制御可能であり、前記制御可能部材の各々が、他の少なくとも1つの制御可能部材の前記位置に応じて移動可能である、制御可能部材と
を備える制御デバイス。 - 前記複数の制御可能部材の各々が、ユーザによって直接接近可能である、請求項19に記載の近位の制御デバイス。
