Abstract
【解決手段】同軸ケーブル用磁気コネクタの雄要素及び雌要素が両者を接続する力を供給する永久磁石を有し、雄要素と雌要素の磁極は反対の極性である。コネクタ分離時は雄要素のピン部材がスプリング部材により付勢されて平坦面から突出し、雌要素のソケット部材は平坦面内にある。コネクタ接続時はスプリング部材がピン部材に作用する力により圧縮されてピン部材を雄要素内へと押し下げ、ピン部材が正しく位置決めされてソケット部材内へと挿入されるのを付勢するようになっている。

Description
本発明の他の目的は、その使用寿命の間、頻繁に不注意による断続にさらされるような環境の下での使用に適するような同軸ケーブルを提供することにある。
さらに本発明の他の目的は、引き離す力を受けたときにも容易かつ信頼性高く解放することができて、これによりケーブルが損傷を受けることがないような同軸ケーブル用の磁気コネクタ手段を提供することにある。

Claims (17)
- 同軸ケーブル用の磁気コネクタ組立体であって、
雄要素が信号導電ピン部材を有し雌要素が前記ピン部材を受け入れるための補完的形状をしたソケット部材を有している雄要素及び雌要素を包含し、
前記雄要素及び前記雌要素は係合するようにアースされた概ね平坦な面を有し、前記ピン部材はスプリング手段により付勢されて前記雄要素の前記平坦面から突出するようになっており、前記ソケット部材は前記雌要素の前記平坦面内に引き込まれており、
前記スプリング手段は、前記ピン部材に作用する圧力に応答して圧縮された状態になると前記ピン部材を前記雄要素内へと押し下げ、かつ前記ピン部材が正しく位置決めされた補完的ソケット部材内へと挿入されるのを付勢するようになっており、これにより前記雄要素と前記雌要素とが連結されるようにしており、
さらに、前記雄要素と前記雌要素との連結を維持して電気回路を供給し、かつ前記ケーブルに望ましくない切り離し力が作用したときに前記雄要素を前記雌要素から切り離す磁気手段を包含している磁気コネクタ組立体。 - 前記磁気手段は前記雄要素内の永久磁石を有し、この永久磁石は前記雌要素内の反対の極性を有する永久磁石と協働するようになっている請求項1記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記アースされた概ね平坦な面は連続した電気的シールドを供給し、前記雄要素と前記雌要素との間にマッチした電気的インピーダンスを有している請求項2記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記ピン部材は可撓性の信号導電手段により前記同軸ケーブルの中央導体に接続され、前記スプリング手段の圧縮状態から独立した信号の連続性を維持するようになっている請求項3記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記雄要素は複数のピン部材を有し、前記雌要素は補完的なソケット部材を有している請求項4記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 第1ケーブルと第2ケーブルとを連結するための同軸ケーブル用コネクタ組立体で、各ケーブルが内側絶縁層で被覆された中央導体と前記内側絶縁層を被覆する金属ブレードとを有している同軸ケーブル用コネクタ組立体であって、
雄要素で、ピン部材を有し、このピン部材がピン接点部分と可撓性導体に導電的に連結されたピンアタッチメント部分とを有し、この可撓性導体は前記第1ケーブルの前記中央導体に連結されており、
さらにこの雄要素は、前記ピンアタッチメント部分と前記可撓性導体とを包囲しかつ前記ピン接点部分の一部を越えて延伸している第1の絶縁性部材と、
前記第1の絶縁性部材を包囲する第1の磁気部材と、
前記第1の磁気部材を包囲しかつ前記第1の磁気部材を越えて延伸している第1の導電性シールド部材とを有し、前記第1の導電性シールド部材は前記雄要素のための概ね平坦な係合面を供給しており、さらに前記第1の導電性シールド部材は前記第1ケーブルの前記ブレードに電気的に連結されているような雄要素を備え、
さらに同軸ケーブル用コネクタ組立体は、
雌要素で、前記第2ケーブルの中央導体に導電的に連結されるための第1端部と、前記ピン接点部分を導電的に受け入れるためのソケット部分に連結される第2端部とを有し、
さらにこの雌要素は、前記第2端部を包囲する第2の絶縁性部材と、
前記第2の絶縁性部材を包囲する第2の磁気部材と、
前記第2の磁気部材を越えて延伸している第2の導電性シールド部材とを有し、前記第2の導電性シールド部材は前記雄要素の前記係合面と係合するための概ね平坦な面を供給しており、さらに前記第2のシールド部材は前記ブレードに電気的に連結されているような雌要素とを備えており、
前記第1及び第2の磁気部材は反対の極性を有し、前記雄要素と前記雌要素とがそれらの各係合面で係合したときは、過剰な分離力が働かない限り、連続して連結された状態を保持するようになっている同軸ケーブル用コネクタ組立体。 - 前記ピンアタッチメント部分はスプリング手段を有し、このスプリング手段は、前記ピン接点部分に働く圧力に応答して、圧縮された状態で前記ピン接点部分を前記雄要素内へと押し下げ、かつ圧力が解放された状態で拡張し前記ピン接点部分が前記ソケット部材内へと挿入されるようにしている請求項6記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記雄要素と前記雌要素との係合は、連続した電気的シールドを供給し、前記第1ケーブルと前記第2ケーブルとの間にマッチした電気的インピーダンスを有している請求項6記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 音響システム内での前記雄要素と前記雌要素との係合は、突然の切断による音響的ノイズの発生や電気回路の損傷を阻止するような電気回路接続を供給している請求項6記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記雄要素は複数のピン部材を有し、前記雌要素は補完的なソケット部材を有している請求項7記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 同軸ケーブル用の磁気コネクタ組立体であって、
雄要素及び雌要素であり、前記雄要素が信号導電ピン部材を有し、この信号導電ピン部材は前記雌要素内の補完的ソケット部材と係合するようになっている雄要素及び雌要素を包含し、
前記雄要素及び前記雌要素が係合する表面を有し、それらの表面の下に前記雄要素と前記雌要素とが電気回路を供給できるように連結を維持するための磁気手段が横たわっており、さらに前記磁気手段は前記ケーブルに望ましくない分離力が働いたときは前記雄要素を前記雌要素から分離するようになっている磁気コネクタ組立体。 - 前記横たわる磁気手段は前記雄要素内の永久磁石と前記雌要素内にあって反対の極性を有する永久磁石とを包含する請求項11記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記雄要素側の係合表面と前記雌要素側の係合表面とは概ね平坦で、アースされ、係合しており、これにより連続した電気的シールドを供給している請求項12記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記雄要素側の係合表面と前記雌要素側の係合表面との係合は、前記雄要素と前記雌要素との間にマッチした電気的インピーダンスを供給し、これにより前記雄要素側の係合表面とと前記雌要素側の係合表面との係合が突然に切断されたときは音響的ノイズの発生や電気回路の損傷を阻止するような電気回路接続を供給している請求項13記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記ピン部材を付勢して前記雌要素の前記係合表面から突出させて前記雌要素の前記ソケット部材へと連結させるためのスプリング手段を有し、このスプリング手段は、正しく位置決めされたソケット部材がないときに前記ピン部材への圧力に応答して前記ピン部材を前記雌部材内へと押し下げるようになっている請求項13記載のコネクタ組立体。
- 前記ピン部材がピン接点部分と可撓性導体に導電的に連結されたピンアタッチメント部分とを有し、この可撓性導体は第1の同軸ケーブルの前記中央導体に連結されており、
さらにこの組立体は、前記ピンアタッチメント部分と前記可撓性導体とを包囲しかつ前記ピン接点部分の一部を越えて延伸している第1の絶縁性部材と、
前記第1の絶縁性部材を包囲する第1の磁気部材と、
前記第1の磁気部材を包囲しかつ前記第1の磁気部材を越えて延伸している第1の導電性シールド手段とを有し、前記第1の導電性シールド部材は前記雄要素のための概ね平坦な係合面を供給しており、さらに前記第1の導電性シールド手段は前記第1ケーブルのブレードに電気的に連結されており、
前記雌要素は、第2の同軸ケーブルの中央導体に導電的に連結されるための第1端部と、前記ピン接点部分を導電的に受け入れるための前記ソケット部分に連結される第2端部とを有し、
さらにこの雌要素は、前記第2端部を包囲する第2の絶縁性部材と、
前記第2の絶縁性部材を包囲する第2の磁気部材と、
前記第2の磁気部材を越えて延伸している第2の導電性シールド手段とを有し、前記第2の導電性シールド手段は前記雄要素の前記係合面と係合するための概ね平坦な面を供給しており、さらに前記第2のシールド手段は前記第2のケーブルの前記ブレードに電気的に連結されている請求項15記載のコネクタ組立体。 - 前記雄要素は複数のピン部材を有し、前記雌要素は補完的なソケット部材を有している請求項15記載のコネクタ組立体。
