Abstract
Description
本出願は、米国仮出願60/745033号(2006年4月18日出願)の利益を主張する。
本発明は、微細構造が固化した樹脂組成物から形成され、従って固化した樹脂組成物を含む微細構造物品に関する。
エチルアクリレート、n−ブチルアクリレート、アクリル酸イソブチル、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート、n−アクリル酸ヘキシル、n−オクチルアクリレート、アクリル酸イソオクチル、ボルニルアクリレート、テトラヒドロフルフリルアクリレート、2−フェノキシエチルアクリレート、及びN,N−ジメチルアクリルアミド;
(2)二官能性化合物:
1,4−ブタンジオールジアクリレート、1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート、ネオペンチルグリコールジアクリレート、エチレングリコールジアクリレート、トリエチレングリコールジアクリレート、テトラエチレングリコールジアクリレート、及びジエチレングリコールジアクリレート;並びに
(3)多官能性化合物:
トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート、グリセロールトリアクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールテトラアクリレート、及びトリス(2−アクリロイルオキシエチル)イソシアヌレート。
配向に対する全光反射(TLR)の均一性を向上させるための一般的な方法はタイリングすること、すなわち、例えば、米国特許第4,243,618号(ヴァン・アーナム(Van Arnam)、同第4,202,600号及び同第5,936,770号(ネストガード(Nestegard)ら)に記載のように、最終製造時に複数の小さな治具区域を2つ以上の配向で配置することである。得られたシート材は、キューブコーナー要素の隣接する配置とは異なる配向を有するキューブコーナー要素の第一の配列を有する。
25質量%のビスフェノールAエポキシジアクリレート(サイテック社(Cytek)から取引表記「エベクリル(Ebecryl)3720」として市販されている)と、50質量%のTMPTA(トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート)と、25質量%の1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート(HDDA)を混合することにより、比較例A及びB(即ち、窒素含有樹脂を含まない)を調製した。比較例Aは、0.5pphの「ルシリンTPO(Lucirin TPO)」光開始剤を有し、一方比較例Bは、0.5pphの「ルシリンTPO(Lucirin TPO)」及び0.5pphの「ダロキュア(1173」光開始剤を有していた。
米国特許第5,691,846号の図5によって一般的に記載され、例示されたようにして、本体層上にキューブコーナー微細構造を設けた。キューブコーナー構造(個々のキューブに分離する前)は、図2に示したように、底面三角形夾角(base triangle apertures)が55.5/55.5/69°である、0.18mm(0.007”)のピッチ(即ち、主要溝間隔)である3組の交差する溝を有し、結果として高さ76.2ミクロン(3.5mil)のキューブコーナー要素を生じた。
Claims (26)
- 7×108パスカル未満の弾性率を有する光透過性高分子本体層と、
前記本体層との界面から突出する複数のキューブコーナー要素とを含み、少なくとも前記界面は、少なくとも2質量%の重合性アミン含有成分を含む重合性樹脂組成物の反応生成物を含む、可撓性再帰反射物品。 - 前記アミン含有成分の量は約5質量%〜約20質量%の範囲内である、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記重合性アミン含有成分は(メタ)アクリレート官能基を含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記重合性アミン含有成分は、R1−アミノ−R2(メタ)アクリレートモノマーであって、式中R1及びR2が独立して1〜6個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基である、請求項3に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記アミン含有モノマーは、ジエチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、及びこれらの混合物から選択される、請求項4に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記重合性樹脂は、少なくとも3つの(メタ)アクリレート基を有する架橋剤を少なくとも20質量%含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記重合性樹脂は、少なくとも2つの(メタ)アクリレート基を有するエポキシ(メタ)アクリレートを少なくとも10質量%さらに含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記キューブコーナー要素は前記重合性樹脂の反応生成物を含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記本体層界面は前記重合性樹脂の反応生成物を含み、前記キューブコーナー要素は固化した熱可塑性樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記本体層は、プライマー層、コロナ処理又はこれらの組み合わせから選択される接着性を促進する表面処理をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記本体層は、アイオノマー性エチレンコポリマー類、低密度ポリエチレン類、ポリエチレンコポリマー類、可塑化ポリ(塩化ビニル)、ポリウレタン、及びこれらの混合物から選択される高分子材料を含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記本体層は、エチレンと、酢酸ビニル、アルキル(メタ)アクリレート、(メタ)アクリル酸及びこれらの混合物から選択される少なくとも1種のコモノマーとのコポリマー又はターポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記物品はロール縁部により画定される幅を有する再帰反射シート材の巻物であり、前記キューブコーナー要素は、3つの互いに交差する溝により形成され、前記溝のうち1つが、シート材のロール縁部に対して実質的に垂直である、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記シート材は、隣接配列のキューブコーナー要素とは異なる配向を有するキューブコーナー要素の第一の配列を有する、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記キューブコーナー要素の一部に結合した封止フィルムをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記封止フィルムは、2〜8個の炭素原子を有するアルキレンを少なくとも50質量%含む、請求項15に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記封止フィルムは、エチレンと、酢酸ビニル、アルキル(メタ)アクリレート及びこれらの混合物から選択される少なくとも1種のコモノマーとのコポリマー又はターポリマーを含む、請求項15に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 前記キューブコーナー要素は鏡面反射コーティングを含む、請求項1に記載の可撓性再帰反射物品。
- 少なくとも2質量%の(メタ)アクリレート官能性窒素含有成分、重合性アミン含有成分、窒素含有ポリマー又はこれらの混合物を含む重合性樹脂の反応生成物を含む、複数の光透過性キューブコーナー要素を有する、再帰反射物品。
- 前記キューブコーナー要素は一体型本体層の主表面から突出する、請求項19に記載の再帰反射物品。
- 前記キューブコーナー要素はエラストマー本体層の主表面から突出する、請求項19に記載の再帰反射物品。
- 前記窒素含有ポリマーは前記重合性樹脂に可溶性である、請求項19に記載の再帰反射物品。
- 前記窒素含有ポリマーは重合性基を含まない、請求項22に記載の再帰反射物品。
- 前記キューブコーナー要素は、2〜8個の炭素原子を有する1つ以上のアルキレンを少なくとも50質量%含む層に隣接する、請求項19に記載の再帰反射物品。
- 前記隣接層は本体層又は封止フィルム層である、請求項24に記載の再帰反射物品。
- 主表面から突出する複数の微細構造要素を含み、前記微細構造要素は、少なくとも2質量%の重合性アミン含有成分を有している重合性樹脂の反応生成物を含む、微細構造物品。
