Claims (10)
- インクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)であって、
基板(12)と、
前記基板(12)の少なくとも1つの表面(S1)上に設けられた基層(14)であって、前記基層(14)が乾燥重量で約25%〜約75%の範囲の量で存在する焼成粘土を含むものと、
前記基層(14)上に設けられた多孔質インク受容層(16)と
を含む、
インクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。 - さらに、前記基層(14)と前記多孔質インク受容層(16)との間に設けられた少なくとも1つの中間層(18)を含む、請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。
- 前記の少なくとも1つの中間層(18)が無機処理剤とモノアミノオルガノシラン処理剤により処理されたヒュームドシリカを含み、且つ前記多孔質インク受容層(16)がベーマイト又は擬ベーマイトを含む、請求項2に記載のインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。
- 前記基層(14)が、カオリンクレー、炭酸カルシウム、ポリメリック顔料、アルミニウムトリハイドラート、二酸化チタン及びこれらの組合せから選択された顔料をさらに含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。
- 前記多孔質インク受容層(16)が、シリカ、アルミナ、ハイドラスアルミナ(hydrous alumina)、炭酸カルシウム、又はこれらの組合せを含む、請求項1、2及び4のいずれか1項に記載のインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。
- 前記多孔質インク受容層(16)が、無機処理剤とモノアミノオルガノシラン処理剤により処理されたシリカを含む、請求項5に記載のインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。
- プリントされた表象が、インクジェットインクを前記インクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)上に設けた時に形成され、且つ、前記プリント表象又はインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)が、高められた色の冴え、低減されたにじみ、低減されたコアレッセンス、短縮された乾燥時間、高められたインク吸収、及びこれらの組合せから選択された特徴を示す、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。
- さらに、前記基板(12)の少なくとも1つの他の表面(S2)上に設けられたバックコート(22)を含み、前記の少なくとも1つの他の表面(S2)は前記基層(14)がその上に設けられている前記の少なくとも1つの表面(S1)に対向している、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のインクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)。
- インクジェット記録媒体(10、10’、10’’、10’’’)を作製する方法において、
乾燥重量で約25%〜約75%の範囲の量で存在する焼成粘土を含む基層(14)を基板表面(S1、S2)上に設けるステップと、
前記基層(14)上に多孔質インク受容層(16)を設けるステップと
を包含する、
方法。 - 前記基層(14)を形成するのに用いられる水性懸濁液を提供するステップをさらに包含し、前記水性懸濁液が、
乾燥重量で約25%〜約75%の範囲の量で存在する焼成粘土と、且つ、
カオリンクレー、炭酸カルシウム、ポリメリック顔料、アルミニウムトリハイドラート、二酸化チタン、又はこれらの組合せから選択された顔料と
を含有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
