Claims (30)
- 疎水性状態とより疎水性でない状態または親水性状態との間で電気的に作動可能な表面領域を備えた医療機器であって、埋め込み可能なまたは挿入可能な医療機器である医療機器。
- 請求項1の機器であって、前記表面領域が、(A)導電性領域と、(B)(1)共有結合または非共有結合で前記導電性領域に結合される疎水性鎖部分と、(2)荷電極性部分と、を備える分子の層と、を備え、前記荷電極性部分が、(a)前記導電性領域が、その符号が前記荷電極性部分のそれと反対の電荷を有する場合、前記導電性領域に引き寄せられ、および(b)前記導電性領域が、その符号が前記荷電極性部分のそれと同じである電荷を有する場合、前記導電性領域からはね返される、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項1の機器であって、前記表面領域が、導電性領域および前記導電性領域の上に配設される誘電層を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項3の機器であって、前記表面領域が、導電性マイクロ突出部、導電性ナノ突出部または両方から選択される導電性突出部および前記突出部の上の疎水性層を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、前記表面領域が、前記突出部と、前記突出部の上の疎水性誘電層と、を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、前記表面領域が、前記突出部と、前記突出部の上の誘電層と、前記誘電層の上の疎水性層と、を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、さらに、前記導電性突出部の下に配設される薬剤含有領域、を備える機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、さらに、前記導電性突出部の間に薬剤含有領域、を備える機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、前記導電性突出部が、半導体、金属または金属合金を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、前記疎水性層が、フッ素化重合体またはシリコーンポリマーを備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、前記疎水性層が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンまたはポリ(ジメチルシロキサン)を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、前記疎水性層が、エラストマを備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項6の機器であって、前記導電性突出部がシリコンを備え、および、前記誘電層が二酸化ケイ素を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4の機器であって、前記突出部が、約500nm以下の直径および約10μm以下の高さを有する円柱である、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項14の機器であって、隣接する円柱間の距離が、約5μm以下である、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項1の機器であって、前記医療機器が膨張可能バルーン形成構造を備え、および、前記電気的に作動可能な表面領域が前記バルーン形成構造の表面の少なくとも一部の上に設けられる、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項1の機器であって、前記医療機器が拡張可能なステント部材を備え、および、前記電気的に作動可能な表面領域が前記ステント部材の表面の少なくとも一部の上に設けられる、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項17の機器であって、前記ステント部材が、金属、金属合金、重合体またはその組合せから選択される材料を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 医療機器システムであって、請求項2の埋め込み可能なまたは挿入可能な医療機器と、身体との電気的接触のために構成される電極と、前記導電性領域および前記電極と電気的に連通する電源と、を備える医療機器システム。
- 医療機器システムであって、請求項3の埋め込み可能なまたは挿入可能な医療機器と、身体との電気的接触のために構成される電極と、前記導電性領域および前記電極と電気的に連通する電源と、を備える医療機器システム。
- 請求項20の医療機器システムであって、前記電極が、前記医療機器の表面上に設けられる、ことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項20の医療機器システムであって、前記電極が、前記医療機器と無関係に埋め込み可能または挿入可能である、ことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項20の医療機器システムであって、前記医療機器の前記表面領域が、導電性マイクロ突出部、導電性ナノ突出部または両方から選択される導電性突出部および前記突出部の上の疎水性層を備える、ことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項23の医療機器システムであって、前記表面領域が、印加電位差の非存在下で超疎水性である、ことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項19の医療機器の前記潤滑度を調節する方法であって、前記表面領域を疎水性状態から親水性状態に変換するのに十分な電気電位差を前記電源から印加するステップ、を含む方法。
- 請求項20の医療機器の前記潤滑度を調節する方法であって、前記表面領域を疎水性状態から親水性状態に変換するのに十分な電気電位差を前記電源から印加するステップ、を含む方法。
- 請求項23の機器であって、さらに、前記薬剤および担体マトリックスを備える薬剤含有層、を備える機器。
- 請求項27の機器であって、前記薬剤含有層内に含まれる前記薬剤が、体液に前記薬剤含有層との接触をもたらすのに適切な前記電源からの電位差の印加で、前記体液の中に放出される、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項1の機器であって、前記医療機器が、カテーテル、ステント、神経刺激器、電気刺激器および埋め込み可能な電極から選択される、ことを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項1の機器であって、前記医療機器が、複数の前記表面領域を備える、ことを特徴とする機器。
