Abstract
Description
・毛管作用による水の吸収を低減させること(水の吸収係数を>90%にまで低減させること);
・水蒸気に対する透過性にほとんど影響を及ぼさないこと(透過係数の変動が<20%);及び
・処理材料の外観(色、光沢、粗さ)を変化させないこと
である。
・液体シリコーン組成物のレオロジーによって、多孔質建設材料に数ミリメートルから数センチメートルの範囲の厚さにわたり浸透することが可能になること、
・多孔質建設材料と疎水化活性珪素質材料との間で反応が生じること、及び
・好ましくは、この活性珪素質材料が多孔質建設材料中で架橋し、この架橋が該多孔質建設材料と疎水化軽質材料との結合を生じさせる反応であることが可能なこと。
(a)1分子あたり、一方ではM、D、T及びQ型から選択される少なくとも2種の異なるシロキシル単位であって、これらの単位の一つがT単位又はQ単位であるものと、他方ではOH及び/又はOR1型(ここで、R1は直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C6アルキル基である。)の少なくとも3個の加水分解性/縮合性基とを有する少なくとも1種のポリオルガノシロキサン樹脂A;
(b)該ポリオルガノシロキサン樹脂Aに対して≧5重量%、好ましくは≧6重量%、より好ましくはさらに≧7重量%の含有量の少なくとも1種の金属アルコキシドB(ここで、この金属Mは1個以上の配位子に部分的に結合していてよい。)であって、次の一般式:
M[(OCH2CH2)a−OR2]n (I)
(式中、
・MはTi、Zr、Ge、Mn及びAlよりなる群から選択される金属であり;
・n=Mの原子価であり;
・R2置換基は、同一のもの又は異なるものであり、それぞれ直鎖又分岐のC1〜C12アルキル基を表し;
・aは0、1又は2を表し;
・ただし、該記号aが0を表すときには、該R2アルキル基は2〜12個の炭素原子を有し、しかも、該記号aが1又は2を表すときには、該R2アルキル基は1〜4個の炭素原子を有するものとする。)
を有するもの、及び
(c)該ポリオルガノシロキサン樹脂Aに対して≧4重量%、好ましくは≧5重量%、より好ましくはさらに≧6重量%の含有量の少なくとも1種の架橋剤Cであって、次式:
Si[(OCH2CH2)a−OR]4 (II)
(式中、
・該R置換基は、同一のもの又は異なるものであり、それぞれ直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C12アルキル基を表し、
・aは0、1又は2を表す。)
を有するもの
から本質的になる液体シリコーン組成物の使用である本発明によって達成される。
次の成分で様々な処方物を調製する:
・0.5重量%のOHを有し且つ62重量%のCH3SiO3/2単位、24重量%の(CH3)2SiO2/2単位及び14重量%の(CH3)3SiO1/2単位から構成されるヒドロキシル化MDTシリコーン樹脂:100重量部;
・次の物質の混合物:
式Ti(OBu)4のチタン酸n−ブチル(Bu):当該シリコーン樹脂に対してv重量部;
式Si(OEt)4の珪酸エチル(Et):当該シリコーン樹脂に対してz重量部。
その後、塗布前に、これらの処方物を溶媒(揮発油)で再度希釈して、最終的に5重量%の濃度の溶液を得る。
・複数の石材(この場合にはソープストーン)を、5秒間の溶液中への浸漬を2回行うことによって処理する。
・これらの石材を15日間50%相対湿度の雰囲気下において周囲温度で放置して乾燥させる。
・2タイプの測定を実施する:
毛管作用による水の吸収による疎水化の測定:処理した試料を水と接触した状態に置き、次いで定期的に秤量する。水の吸収の減少を、試料の水の吸収を未処理の対照の水の吸収で標準化することによって決定する。
ビーディング効果の測定:この性能を、処理した試料を雨にさらすことによって測定する。この試料を垂直な位置から45°の角度に置き、この試料の上20cmに水平に設置された穴あきのパイプから水を噴射させることによって降雨とした。注ぎだした水の量は250mLである。この試料をこの試験の前後で秤量し、重量の差をによりビーディング効果を得る。
Claims (7)
- 多孔質建設材料を疎水化させ且つ該材料のビーディング効果を改善させるための、次の成分:
(a)1分子あたり、一方ではM、D、T及びQ型から選択される少なくとも2種の異なるシロキシル単位であって、これらの単位の一つがT単位又はQ単位であるものと、他方ではOH及び/又はOR1型(ここで、R1は直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C6アルキル基である。)の少なくとも3個の加水分解性/縮合性基とを有する少なくとも1種のポリオルガノシロキサン樹脂A;
(b)該ポリオルガノシロキサン樹脂Aに対して≧5重量%、好ましくは≧6重量%、より好ましくはさらに≧7重量%の含有量の少なくとも1種の金属アルコキシドB(ここで、この金属Mは1個以上の配位子に結合していてよい。)であって、次の一般式:

(c)該ポリオルガノシロキサン樹脂Aに対して≧4重量%、好ましくは≧5重量%、より好ましくはさらに≧6重量%の含有量の少なくとも1種の架橋剤Cであって、次式:

(式中、
・R置換基は、同一のもの又は異なるものであり、それぞれ直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C12アルキル基を表し、
・aは0、1又は2を表す。)
を有するもの
から本質的になる液体シリコーン組成物の使用。 - 前記液体シリコーン組成物が建設材料の疎水化のために使用できる有機溶媒をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の使用。
- 前記架橋剤が式Si(OR)4(式中、R置換基は、同一のもの又は異なるものであり、それぞれ直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C12アルキル基を表す。)のシリケートであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の使用。
- 前記金属アルコキシドがTi(OR')4(式中、R'置換基は、同一のもの又は異なるものであり、それぞれ直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C12アルキルを表す。)のチタネートであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記金属アルコキシドBが式Ti(OR')4(式中、R'置換基は、同一のもの又は異なるものであり、それぞれ直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C12アルキル基を表す。)のチタネートであり、前記架橋剤が式Si(OR)4(式中、R置換基は、同一のもの又は異なるものであり、それぞれ直鎖又は分岐のC1〜C12アルキルを表す。)のシリケートであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の使用。
- 多孔質建設材料を疎水化し且つ該材料のビーディング効果を改善させるための方法であって、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の液体シリコーン組成物を前記材料に塗布する、前記方法。
- 前記組成物を次の基材:石材、コンクリート、モルタル、煉瓦、タイル及び木材から選択される材料に塗布する、請求項6に記載の方法。
