Description
Claims (17)
- 水流により電力を発生させる発電装置であって、
水の入口及び水の出口を有するハウジングと、
該ハウジング内で略垂直な軸線を中心として回動可能に設置されると共に、タービンシャフト、一組の垂直ブレード、及びブレード角度制御機構を有する第1タービンと、
前記ハウジング内で略垂直な軸線を中心として回動可能に前記第1タービン近傍に設置されると共に、タービンシャフト、一組の垂直ブレード、及びブレード角度制御機構を有する第2タービンとを備えており、
前記ハウジングが、水域内に設置されるように構成されており、かつ前記ハウジングが、水流を、前記入口経由で前記ハウジングに流入させてから、各タービンのために主に2つの駆動水流として案内し、前記出口から放出するように案内する構成となっており、
駆動水流に対する各ブレードの角度は、所定の回動方向では前記タービンを駆動するために前記流入水流に対して前記ブレードの表面の範囲を大きく提示する一方で、前記駆動のための方向と反対の方向では前記流入水流に対して前記ブレードの表面の範囲を小さく提示するように、前記ブレード角度制御機構によって制御される構成となっていることを特徴とする発電装置。 - 前記2つのタービンが、前記流入水流に対して前記ブレードの表面の範囲を大きく提示した状態にある各タービンの外周部に向けて前記流入水流を案内するように、互いに対向する方向に同期して回動するように組合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発電装置。
- 前記流入水流を前記ハウジングの外側端部に向かう前記2つの駆動水流として案内するデフレクタが前記入口に設けられており、前記2つのタービンの隣接箇所付近に位置する前記ハウジングの中央部を通過する水流を制限するように少なくとも1つのバッフルが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の発電装置。
- 前記ブレードが前記ハウジングの前記中央部を通過する動作をするとき、前記ブレード角度制御機構が、前記中央部で前記タービンに作用する反対方向の力を軽減すると共に、前記中央部で前記2つのタービンのブレード間の干渉を防止するため、前記流入水流に対して前記ブレードの表面の範囲を小さく提示した状態に前記ブレードの角度を制御するように作動する構成となっていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の発電装置。
- 各ブレードが、略垂直な軸線を中心として枢動可能に前記タービンのブレード支持構造に装着され、前記ブレード角度制御機構が、少なくとも前記ブレードの旋回動作の一部で前記ブレードの旋回動作を制御するように作動する構成となっていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
- 前記ブレード角度制御機構が、各ブレードの旋回軸にリンクすると共に、前記タービンの軸線と同軸上にある静止太陽歯車と噛み合うような遊星歯車を有する遊星歯車装置を備えており、前記タービンの回動時に前記ブレードが前記ブレードの角度を変化させながら旋回する構成となっていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の発電装置。
- 前記ブレード角度制御機構が、前記タービンの回動時に前記ブレードと協働する案内装置を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
- 各ブレードが、前記ブレードの中心軸から偏心した位置にある旋回軸線を有しており、前記案内装置が、静止ガイドを備えており、該静止ガイドが、前記ハウジングの前記外側端部に向かうような前記ブレードの動作中に前記ブレードの角度を制御するため、前記ブレードを動作させながら前記タービンを回動させるている間、前記ブレードの内側端部と係合するように構成されており、前記ブレードの内側端部が、前記ブレードの回動中心の偏心に伴って前記ブレードに作用する力によって、前記ブレードの動作中に前記静止ガイドに保持されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の発電装置。
- 前記ブレードが前記ハウジングの前記外側端部を通過した後、前記ブレードが、前記静止ガイドとの係合から解放されると共に、前記ブレードの回動中心の偏心に伴い前記ブレードに作用する力によって水流の方向に対して平行な状態に維持されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の発電装置。
- 各ブレードの内側端部が、前記静止ガイドに係合可能なローラを備えている請求項8又は9に記載の発電装置。
- 前記静止ガイドが、前記ハウジングの前記中央部内に及ぶまで延在して、前記中央部内を通過する水流を制限するバッフルとなっているか、又は該バッフルの一部を形成していることを特徴とする請求項7〜10のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
- 前記静止ガイドが、略円筒形に形成されると共に、前記ハウジングの基部近傍から前記ハウジングの上側部まで延在していることを特徴とする請求項7〜11のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
- 水流により電力を発生するための発電装置であって、
水の入口及び水の出口を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内で軸線を中心として回動可能に設置されると共に、タービンシャフト、一組のブレード、及びブレード角度制御機構を有するタービンとを備えており、
前記ハウジングが、水域内に設置されるように構成されており、かつ前記ハウジングが、水流を、前記入口経由で前記ハウジングに流入させてから、主に前記タービン用の駆動流として案内し、前記出口から放出させるように案内する構成となっており、
駆動水流に対する各ブレードの角度は、所定の回動方向では前記タービンを駆動するために前記流入水流に対して前記ブレードの表面の範囲を大きく提示する一方で、前記駆動のための方向と反対の方向では前記流入水流に対して前記ブレードの表面の範囲を小さく提示するように、前記ブレード角度制御機構によって制御される構成となっていることを特徴とする発電装置。 - 前記ハウジングが、浮き構造の一部によって支持されるか、及び/又は該浮き構造の一部を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
- 設置された状態の前記ハウジングが、水底付近で支持されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
- 前記タービン又はそれぞれの前記タービンにより駆動される1台以上の液圧ポンプが、設けられており、該液圧ポンプ又はそれぞれの前記液圧ポンプが、発電機を動作させるために駆動する1台以上の液圧モータに接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
- モジュールの形態に構成されており、2台以上の前記モジュールを並行に作動させるような並列関係に組み合わせることによって所要の発電容量のシステムを形成できる構成となっていることを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の発電装置。
