Abstract
PURPOSE: To contrive efficient use of marine waves in such a way that an impeller is installed at the wash of sea, a wave receiving reservoir is formed at the dorsal bulkhead.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontally long wave receiving reservoir 6 is formed by concrete bulkhead on the dorsal side of a surrounding bulkhead 3 and in one lateral direction. This wave receiving reservoir 6 is provided with an inclined bulkhead 6a at the forefront, and an inclined surface 6b also on the inner side of the dorsal side so that sea water which has come through a communication bore 7 formed at the dorsal bulkhead 3c of the surrounding bulkhead 3 into the wave receiving reservoir 6 streams in to the lower part of the surrounding bulkhead, even with this sea water force, an impeller 1 is made to rotate. However, a horizontal main shaft 4 has a big toothed wheel 8 fixed in protrusion more than one side of the surrounding bulkhead 3, a small toothed wheel 11 which is meshed with the big tooth 8 on the axle 10 of a dynamo 9 which is separately installed, because the dynamo 9 is rotated by turning effort of the impeller 1, efficient power generation is available with a simple installation.
