Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the average power whether or not a water level fluctuates by a method wherein a chain laterally laid with numerous vanes is stretched between sprocket wheels, and the sprocket wheels are supported by a floating body having desired duoyancy.
CONSTITUTION: The chain 4a is laid laterally with the numerous vanes 5 and stretched between the sprocket wheels 3a, 3b, which are supported by the cylindrical floating body 1 having the desired buoyancy. Whereby even in case where the water levels of rivers change, the floating body 1 is moved according to the change of the water level and the vanes 5 are always sunk under water by fixed areas, so that the average power can be obtained regardless of the change of the water level.
