Abstract
【解決手段】バイオマスを原料とする含水エタノールをZr‐Fe触媒の存在下で400℃以上の反応温度に加熱し、アセトンを生成する。反応温度は450〜550℃とすることが好ましく、Zr‐Fe触媒としては5〜10質量%のZrを含有するものを使用することが好ましい。本発明によれば含水状態のままでアセトンの精製が可能であり、含水エタノールの精製を要しない。

Description
図1は本発明の工程を示すブロック図であり、出発物質はバイオマスである。このバイオマスとしては、間伐材、廃材、おが屑、ペーパースラッジのような木質系バイオマスのほか、下水汚泥、生ゴミ、屎尿、畜産廃液のような廃棄物系バイオマスを用いることもできる。これらのバイオマスは液状化し、必要に応じて加水分解したうえでアルコール発酵させる。
以下に本発明の実施例を示す。

Claims (4)
- バイオマスを原料とする含水エタノールをZr‐Fe触媒の存在下で400℃以上の反応温度に加熱し、アセトンを生成することを特徴とするバイオエタノールからのアセトン製造方法。
- 反応温度を450〜550℃とすることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバイオエタノールからのアセトン製造方法。
- Zr‐Fe触媒として、酸化鉄に2〜10質量%のZrを含有させた触媒を使用することを特徴とする請求項1記載のバイオエタノールからのアセトン製造方法。
- バイオマスが、木質系バイオマスまたは廃棄物系バイオマスであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバイオエタノールからのアセトン製造方法。
