Abstract
【解決手段】電気光学装置は、基板(10)上に、互いに交差する複数の走査線(11a)及び複数のデータ線(6a)と、複数の走査線及び複数のデータ線の交差に対応して設けられた複数の画素電極(9a)と、複数の画素電極が設けられた画素領域(10a)の周辺に位置する周辺領域に形成され、製造工程において複数の走査線を相互に短絡させる本線部及び該本線部から複数のデータ線と交差するように延在する延在部を有する短絡用配線(700)と、所定電位が供給されると共に延在部に電気的に接続された定電位配線(605)とを備える。定電位配線が短絡用配線の延在部に電気的に接続されることによって、延在部の電位が確定し、意図しない容量性カップリングの発生を抑制することができる。

Description
先ず、本実施形態に係る液晶装置の全体構成について、図1及び図2を参照して説明する。ここに図1は、素子基板をその上に形成された各構成要素と共に対向基板の側から見た平面図であり、図2は、図1のH−H´線断面図である。
次に、図6を参照しながら、上述した液晶装置を電子機器の一例であるプロジェクタに適用した場合を説明する。上述した液晶装置における液晶パネル100は、プロジェクタのライトバルブとして用いられている。図6は、プロジェクタの構成例を示す平面図である。
Claims (4)
- 基板上に、
互いに交差する複数の走査線及び複数のデータ線と、
前記複数の走査線及び前記複数のデータ線の交差に対応して設けられた複数の画素電極と、
前記複数の画素電極が設けられた画素領域の周辺に位置する周辺領域に形成され、製造工程において前記複数の走査線を相互に短絡させる本線部及び該本線部から前記複数のデータ線と交差するように延在する延在部を有する短絡用配線と、
所定電位が供給されると共に前記延在部に電気的に接続された定電位配線と
を備えることを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 前記定電位配線は、前記基板上で平面的に見て、前記延在部に少なくとも部分的に重なるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。
- 前記周辺領域における前記複数のデータ線のうち相隣合うデータ線間に、前記複数のデータ線と同一膜からなるダミー配線を更に備え、
前記定電位配線は、前記複数のデータ線より第1絶縁膜を介して上層側に形成されると共に、前記ダミー配線と前記第1絶縁膜に開孔された第1コンタクトホールを介して電気的に接続され、
前記延在部は、前記複数のデータ線より第2絶縁膜を介して下層側に形成されると共に、前記ダミー配線と前記第2絶縁膜に開孔された第2コンタクトホールを介して電気的に接続される
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電気光学装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置を備えることを特徴とする電子機器。
