Abstract

Claims (7)
- 基板と、少なくとも二つの電極と、熱電子放出素子とを含む熱電子源において、
前記熱電子放出素子が前記の少なくとも二つの電極に電気的に接続し、
前記熱電子放出素子がカーボンナノチューブ構造体を含み、
前記熱電子放出素子が前記基板と分離して設置されていることを特徴とする熱電子源。 - 前記カーボンナノチューブ構造体が、一枚のカーボンナノチューブフィルム又は少なくとも二枚の積層されたカーボンナノチューブフィルムを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱電子源。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブフィルムが、同一の方向に沿って、配列された複数のカーボンナノチューブを含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の熱電子源。
- 前記の少なくとも二枚の積層されたカーボンナノチューブフィルムにおいて、隣接する二枚のカーボンナノチューブフィルムにおけるカーボンナノチューブは、それぞれ0度以上90度以下の角度で交叉して設置されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の熱電子源。
- 前記熱電子源が低仕事関数層を含み、
前記低仕事関数層が前記熱電子放出素子の表面に設置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の熱電子源。 - 前記低仕事関数層の材料が酸化バリウム又はトリウムであることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の熱電子源。
- 前記少なくとも二つの電極が分離して前記基板の表面に設置され、
前記熱電子放出素子が前記の少なくとも二つの電極に支持され、前記基板と分離して設置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の熱電子源。
