Abstract
【解決手段】2本の光ファイバケーブルを接続するスプライスは、ハウジングを有する。ハウジングは、第1開口を有する第1端、第2開口を有する第2端、並びに第1端及び第2端間に延びる中央キャビティを有する。クランプ機構が中央キャビティ内に配置される。クランプ機構は、第1及び第2の開口の双方に開口するファイバ受容溝を画定するプラットホーム、ファイバ受容溝に隣接し第1カム面を有する第1部材、及び第2カム面を有する第2部材を具備する。第1及び第2の部材の第1端への相対移動が第1部材にファイバ受容溝へ移動させるように、第1及び第2のカム面が協働する。アクチュエータは、第1及び第2の部材が第1端へ相対移動するように配置される。第1開口に第1バッファ圧着部が配置され、第2開口に第2バッファ圧着部が配置される。

Claims (6)
- 2本の光ファイバケーブルを相互接続するためのスプライス(100)において、
第1開口(102)を有する第1端(101)、第2開口(104)を有する第2端(103)、並びに前記第1端及び前記第2端間に延びる中央キャビティ(105)を有する細長のハウジング(110)と、
前記中央キャビティ内に配置されるクランプ機構(106)と、
前記第1開口に配置される第1バッファ圧着部(111)と、
前記第2開口に配置される第2バッファ圧着部(112)と
を具備し、
前記クランプ機構は、前記第1開口及び前記第2開口の双方に開口するファイバ受容溝(107)を画定するプラットホーム(121)、前記ファイバ受容溝に隣接すると共に第1カム面(108a)を有する第1部材(108)、第2カム面(120a)を有する第2部材(120)、及び前記第1部材及び前記第2部材が前記第1端へ相対移動するように配置されるアクチュエータ(109)を具備し、
前記第1カム面及び前記第2カム面は、前記第1部材及び前記第2部材の前記第1端への相対移動が前記第1部材に前記ファイバ受容溝へ移動させるように、協働することを特徴とするスプライス。 - 前記第1開口及び前記クランプ機構間の前記ハウジング内に、バッファ停止部(150)が配置され、
該バッファ停止部は、前記ファイバ受容溝と整列する狭い部分(150b)まで傾斜する導入部(150a)を画定することを特徴とする請求項1記載のスプライス。 - 前記バッファ停止部は前記ハウジングと一体であることを特徴とする請求項2記載のスプライス。
- 前記バッファ停止部は、別体のインサートであり、
前記ハウジングは、前記バッファ停止部が当接する前記第1端に内部の肩(351)を画定することを特徴とする請求項2項記載のスプライス。 - 前記第1バッファ圧着部は内部ねじを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のスプライス。
- 前記第2バッファ圧着部は、前記アクチュエータと一体であると共に、前記ファイバ受容溝と整列する通路を画定することを特徴とする請求項1項記載のスプライス。
