Abstract
【解決手段】揺動支点の変位に応じてバルブのリフト量を変化させるローラリンク22のローラ31をカム3に圧接させる向きに付勢するスプリングユニット41を、ローラの移動領域の全体に渡って延在するように設ける。特にスプリングユニットに、コイルばね42・43をローラの移動方向に並んで設け、ローラに当接する当接面47は、ローラの移動方向に沿って傾きが次第に変化する曲面に形成する。

Claims (4)
- 吸気または排気を行うバルブと、
駆動側の部材の動作に応じて前記バルブを開閉させるロッカアームと、
前記駆動側の部材と前記ロッカアームとの間に介装されるローラを遊端側に備え、揺動支点の変位に応じて前記バルブのリフト量を変化させるローラリンクと、
前記ローラを前記駆動側の部材に圧接させる向きに付勢するローラ付勢手段とを有し、
このローラ付勢手段が、前記ローラの移動領域の全体に渡って延在するように設けられたことを特徴とする開弁特性可変型内燃機関。 - 前記ローラ付勢手段が、前記ローラの移動方向に並んで設けられた複数の弾性体を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の開弁特性可変型内燃機関。
- 前記ローラ付勢手段における前記ローラに対する当接面に、前記ローラの移動方向に沿って傾きが次第に変化する曲面が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1若しくは請求項2に記載の開弁特性可変型内燃機関。
- 前記当接面の曲面が、前記ローラに作用する押圧力の方向と前記ローラの運動方向との角度差が小さくなるように、低リフト制御時にローラが位置する低リフト側に向けて次第に傾きが大きくなる曲率に設定されたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の開弁特性可変型内燃機関。
