Description
本発明が、添付図面に示された例示の実施形態を利用して、以下でより詳細に説明される。

同時差動ポリメトリック(Polymetric)測定および並極の相関係数測定。
2.米国特許第6,803,875号(オールフォードら)、2004年10月12日
同時2重偏波レーダ・システム。
3.米国特許第6,859,163号(オールフォードら)、2005年2月22日
同時2重偏波レーダ・システム。
4.ヴァイサラ特許出願。2重偏波気象レーダにおける水平チャンネルおよび垂直チャンネルの較正のための方法および装置。
Claims (2)
- 送信器(1)の出力が、導波管内で方位角回転接合(9)を通って、この信号を水平(H)成分と垂直(V)成分に分割する偏波器(2)によって送受切換器(3)の一方または両方に向けられる工程と、
前記信号の前記水平成分および垂直成分が、送受切換器から、2つの別個の単一仰角回転接合(8)を通って直交モード給電(7)に向けられて、パラボラアンテナ(6)によって空中に向けられる工程と、
受信すると直ちに、前記水平成分および前記垂直成分が前記直交モード給電(7)によって分離されて、送受切換器(3)によって、仰角回転接合(8)を通ってレーダ受信器の水平チャンネルおよび垂直チャンネル(4)に向けられ、信号プロセッサDSP(5)によってさらに処理される工程とを含み、
前記送受切換器(3)、前記偏波器(2)、前記受信器(4)および前記DSP(5)が、前記方位角回転接合の上ではあるが前記仰角回転接合(8)の下に配置され、
信号源(10)から、前記レーダ・システムの主発振器にロックされた前記レーダの動作周波数の低電力較正信号が得られ、前記仰角回転接合(8)の上のカプラ(11)へ分割されて受信器(4)に供給されることを特徴とする、2重偏波気象レーダの水平(H)チャンネルおよび垂直(V)チャンネルの同時伝送のための方法。 - 送信器(1)の出力を、導波管内で方位角回転接合(9)を通して、この信号を水平(H)成分と垂直(V)成分に分割する偏波器(2)によって送受切換器(3)の一方または両方に向けるための手段と、
前記水平成分および前記垂直成分の信号を、送受切換器から、2つの別個の単一仰角回転接合(8)を通して直交モード給電(7)に向け、パラボラアンテナ(6)によって空中に向けるための手段と、
受信すると直ちに、前記水平成分および前記垂直成分を前記直交モード給電(7)によって分離し、送受切換器(3)によって、仰角回転接合(8)を通してレーダ受信器の水平チャンネル(4)および垂直チャンネル(4)に向け、信号プロセッサDSP(5)によってさらに処理するための手段とを備え、
前記送受切換器(3)、前記偏波器(2)、前記受信器(4)および前記DSP(5)が、前記方位角回転接合の上ではあるが仰角回転接合(8)の下に配置され、
前記信号源(10)から、前記レーダ・システムの主発振器にロックされた前記レーダの動作周波数の低電力較正信号が得られ、前記仰角回転接合(8)の上のカプラ(11)へ分割されて受信器(4)に供給されることを特徴とする、2重偏波気象レーダの水平(H)チャンネルおよび垂直(V)チャンネルの同時伝送のための装置。
