Claims (34)
- 光線を受けるために配置される回転可能中空シャフトを有するモーターと、
前記モーターに取り付けられる回転アセンブリであり、該回転アセンブリが前記モーターの前記中空シャフトに結合される回転可能光学シャフトを含み、前記回転可能光学シャフトが前記モーターの前記中空シャフトと一緒に回転する、回転アセンブリと、
前記光学シャフトの中に配置される反射器と、
を含み、
前記モーターの前記中空シャフトによって受け取られる前記光線が前記回転可能光学シャフトを通過して、前記反射器に衝突して、前記光学シャフトの側壁を通り抜けるように導かれることを特徴とする照明装置。 - さらに、前記モーターに結合されるベースを含み、前記ベースが前記光線を発する光源を収容することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記光源がLEDのリング体であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記光源がLEDの配列体であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- さらに前記LEDのリング体の中心に配置される視準光学要素を含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の照明装置。
- 前記視準光学要素が円錐形反射器であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射器が約35度AOIから約55度AOIまでの範囲の角度で傾斜することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射器が約45度AOIの角度で傾斜することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の照明装置。
- さらに前記回転アセンブリを覆うドームを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記ドームがプラスティックで作られることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の照明装置。
- 前記ドームがガラスで作られることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の照明装置。
- 前記ドームが着色材料で作られることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の照明装置。
- 前記ドームが透明材料で作られることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の照明装置。
- 前記ドームが実質的に透明の材料で作られかつその一部を被覆する不透明の覆いを含むことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の照明装置。
- さらにベースを含み、前記ベースが、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの内周に沿って配置されるLED配列体と、
前記ハウジングの中心に配置されるビーム指向性オプティックスと、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記光学シャフトが中空でありかつ前記光学シャフトの側壁に形成されるウィンドウを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記光学シャフトが中実で透明のアクリルロッドであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記モーターが約3,000rpmから約10,000rpmまでの範囲の速度で中空シャフトを回転させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記LED配列体が各LED用の固有の取付けポジションを有するリング体によって構成されることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射器が平面状であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射器が曲線状であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射器が凸面状であること特徴とする、請求項21に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射器が凹面状であることを特徴とする、請求項21に記載の照明装置。
- 前記回転可能光学シャフトが中空であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記回転可能光学シャフトが中実の透明な材料で作られることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記材料がアクリルであることを特徴とする、請求項25に記載の照明装置。
- さらにベースを含み、前記ベースが、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの上面に配置されるLED配列体であり、該装置において、前記LED配列体がその照明を前記ハウジングの底へ向ける、LED配列体と、
前記ハウジングの床に配置される集光器と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記集光器が反射性のパラボラディッシュであることを特徴とする、請求項27に記載の照明装置。
- 前記光学シャフトが光透過性であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 光線を受けるために配置される回転可能中空シャフトを有するモーターと、
前記モーターに取り付けられる回転アセンブリであり、該回転アセンブリが前記モーターの前記中空シャフトに結合される回転可能光学シャフトを含み、前記光学シャフトが前記モーターの前記中空シャフトと一緒に回転する、回転アセンブリと、
前記回転可能光学シャフトに配置される一次オプティックスと、
を含み、
前記モーターの前記中空シャフトによって受け取られる前記光線が前記回転可能光学シャフトを通過して、前記一次オプティックスに衝突して、前記回転光学シャフトの側壁を通り抜けるように導かれることを特徴とする照明装置。 - 前記一次オプティックスが反射器であることを特徴とする、請求項30に記載の照明装置。
- 前記一次オプティックスが斜めに2つの部分に切断された中実の透明なアクリルロッドのピースによって構成され、かつ斜めの切断面に反射性コーティングが施されかつその部分が前記中実の透明なアクリルロッドの残り部分に接着されることを特徴とする、請求項30に記載の照明装置。
- 前記光学シャフトが光透過性であることを特徴とする、請求項30に記載の照明装置。
- 複数のLEDを用いて集中光線を発生するステップと、
約3,000rpmから10,000rpmまでの範囲の速度で前記集中光線を360度走らせるステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする全方向性照明を提供するための方法。
