Abstract
c)処理すべき木材または木材材料の少なくとも1個の表面を表面処理剤で処理し、場合により自体公知方法で表面処理剤を乾燥する工程を有する。
Description
α)少なくとも2個の式CH2OR(Rは水素またはC1〜C4−アルキルである)のN結合基および/または2個の窒素原子に架橋した1,2−ビスヒドロキシエタン−1,2−ジイル基を有する低分子化合物V
β)化合物Vの前縮合物および
γ)化合物Vと、C1〜C6−アルカノール、C2〜C6−ポリオールおよびオリゴアルキレングリコールから選択される、少なくとも1個のアルコールの反応生成物または混合物から選択される、
引き続きb)工程a)で得られた材料を高温で処理する場合に、この課題および他の課題が解決できることが見出された。
a)木材、木材材料または木材材料を製造する木材物質を、硬化性水性組成物で含浸させる工程、前記組成物は少なくとも1個の架橋性化合物を含有し、前記化合物は
α)少なくとも2個の式CH2OR(Rは水素またはC1〜C4−アルキルである)のN結合基および/または2個の窒素原子に架橋した1,2−ビスヒドロキシエタン−1,2−ジイル基を有する低分子化合物V
β)化合物Vの前縮合物および
γ)化合物Vと、C1〜C6−アルカノール、C2〜C6−ポリオールおよびオリゴアルキレングリコールから選択される、少なくとも1個のアルコールの反応生成物または混合物から選択される、
b)工程a)で得られた材料を高温で処理し、場合により木材材料に更に処理する工程、および
c)処理すべき木材または木材材料の少なくとも1個の表面を表面処理剤で処理し、場合により自体公知方法で処理した表面を乾燥する工程
を有する。
3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)−4,5−ジヒドロキシイミダゾリジン−2−オン(DMDHEU)、
C1〜C6−アルカノール、C2〜C6−ポリオール、またはオリゴエチレングリコールで変性された、1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)−4,5−ジヒドロキシイミダゾリジノン(変性されたDMDHEUまたはmDMDHEU)、
1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)尿素、
3−ビス(メトキシメチル)尿素、
1−ヒドロキシメチル−3−メチル尿素、
1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)イミダゾリジン−2−オン(ジメチロールエチレン尿素)、
1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)−1,3−ヘキサヒドロピリミジン−2−オン(ジメチロールプロピレン尿素)、
1,3−ビス(メトキシメチル)−4,5−ジヒドロキシイミダゾリジン−2−オン(DMeDHEU)、
テトラ(ヒドロキシメチル)アセチレンジ尿素、
低分子メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂(MF樹脂)、例えば
少なくとも2個、例えば2,3,4,5または6個のN−ヒドロキシメチル基を有するポリ(ヒドロキシメチル)メラミン、例えば3回メチロール化したメラミン(=2,4,6−トリス(N−ヒドロキシメチルアミノ)−1,3,5−トリアジン)、および
C1〜C6−アルカノール、C2〜C6−ポリオール、またはオリゴエチレングリコールで変性された低分子メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂(MF樹脂)、例えば少なくとも2個、例えば2,3,4,5または6個のN−ヒドロキシメチル基を有するポリ(ヒドロキシメチル)メラミン(変性MF樹脂)。
物理的に乾燥した結合剤であってもよく、すなわち乾燥の際に、ポリマー鎖の互いの顕著な架橋を開始せずに、ポリマーフィルムが形成されるか、
自己架橋結合剤であってもよく、すなわち結合剤のポリマー鎖が官能基を有し、この官能基が被膜の乾燥の際に、場合によりUV線の作用により互いにまたは架橋剤と反応して、結合を形成する、すなわち架橋するか、
UV架橋結合剤または熱硬化結合剤であってもよく、すなわち結合剤のポリマー鎖もしくはプレポリマーが官能基を有し、この官能基が高温および/またはUV線を使用して架橋剤と反応して結合を形成し、こうしてポリマーの架橋を生じる。UV光線と熱の組み合わせた使用により架橋する結合剤は二重硬化系と呼ばれる。
A−X−CR1=CH2 A
の基の形のエチレン不飽和二重結合が存在し、
上記式中、AはOまたはNR2または化学結合であり、R2は水素またはC1〜C4−アルキルであり、Xは化学結合、カルボニル基またはCH2基であり、R1は水素またはC1〜C4−アルキルである。特に二重結合はアクリレート基またはメタクリレート基の形で存在し、すなわちXがカルボニル基であり、Aが特に酸素であり、R1が特に水素またはメチルである。
多価カチオンの塩、例えば亜鉛塩またはカルシウム塩の添加によりまたはポリアミンまたはポリオールの添加により架橋する、カルボキシル基および/または無水物基、または
互いに反応する、OH基とカルボキシル基の組み合わせ、または
架橋剤としてポリオールまたはポリアミンと反応するイソシアネート基、または
ポリアジリジン、ポリカルボジイミド、水分散ポリイソシアネートおよびポリエポキシド、例えばエポキシシランから選択される架橋剤と反応するOH基、または
場合により適当な保護基により可逆的にブロックされるイソシアネート基とOH基の組み合わせ、または
ポリアミン、半カルバジドまたはポリヒドラジドの添加により架橋するケト基、または
ポリアルデヒド、例えばグリオキサールの添加により架橋する尿素基
を有する。
表面処理剤は、木材の表面処理にしばしば使用されるように、液体疎水化剤、例えば液体ワックス、または油、例えば植物油、例えば菜種油、亜麻仁油、液体パラフィン油、例えばホワイトオイル等、またはシリコーン油であってもよい。この場合に全体として改良された気候安定性および木材の孔への液体疎水化剤の改良された侵入が達成され、処理された表面の気候および水分に対する安定性が改良する。
製造例1
ジエチレングリコールおよびメタノールで変性されたDMDHEU(mDMDHEU)を水で30質量%に希釈し、MgCl2・6H2O1.5質量%と混合した。約12%の木材水分に乾燥した、150×10×2.5cmの寸法を有するマツ木材片を含浸装置に導入した。含浸装置中で40ミリバール(絶対圧力)の真空を30分設定した。引き続き含浸装置に含浸物質を流した。絶対圧力50ミリバールの真空を一定に保った。引き続き10バールの圧力を2時間設定した。圧縮段階を終了し、残留液を除去した。木材片をすぐに温度および空気湿度が調節できる乾燥室に保存し、ゆがみが起こらないように固定した。乾燥室を120℃および相対的大氣湿度約95%にした。この湿った条件を木材成形体の内部に少なくとも120℃の温度が達成されるまで48時間保持した。
例1:非水性UV硬化性被覆剤
製造例1により製造したマツ木材片に、まずスプレーガンを使用して25g/m2でプライマーを被覆し、引き続きIST被覆装置中で2本のUV線(それぞれ120W/cm2)を使用して、搬送ベルト運転速度5m/分で硬化した。引き続きこうして得られた被膜に再びプライマーを25g/m2で被覆し、IST被覆装置中で搬送ベルト運転速度5m/分で二回硬化し、研磨した。こうして得られた被膜にトップコートを10g/m2の量で被覆し、こうして得られた被膜をIST被覆装置中で搬送ベルト運転速度5m/分で二回硬化した。
反応希釈剤:Laromer(登録商標)DPGDA、BASF社:ジプロピレングリコールジアクリレート
SyloidED80:高分散珪酸
MicrotalcAT1:タルク粉末
Irgacure500:Ciba Spezialitaetenchemieの製品(ベンゾフェノンと1−ベンゾイル−1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキサンの質量比1:1の混合物)
Irgacure184:Ciba Spezialitaetenchemieの光開始剤
Byk361:流延剤。
比較目的のために、処理されていないマツ木材片を例1に示された方法で被覆した。
製造例1により製造したマツ木材片に、まずスプレーガンを使用して組成R2による自己架橋被覆組成物を湿潤層厚20μmで被覆し、乾燥し、再び組成R2による被覆組成物を湿潤層厚27μmで被覆した。引き続き室温で硬化し、その際被膜が約2日後にその最終強度に達した。
ブチルグリコール 50質量部
プロピレングリコールブチルエーテル 20質量部
ジプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル 20質量部
大豆レシチン(SojalecithinW250) 5質量部
消泡剤(Agitan232、Muenzig Chemie) 4質量部
高分散珪酸(SyloidWD30) 15質量部
水 36質量部
ブチルメタクリレートをベースとする45質量%アニオン性自己架橋水性ポリ(メタ)アクリレート分散液(BASF社) 780質量部
PolygenWE1。ポリオキシデートワックスの水性ワックス分散液(ポリエチレンワックスをベースとするワックスオキシデート) 70質量部。
製造例1により製造したマツ木材片に、スプレーガンを使用して組成R3もしくは組成R3aによる二重硬化被覆組成物を被覆し、例1と同様にUV硬化し、引き続き熱硬化した。
組成R3:LaromerLR9000、100質量部およびIrgacure500、3質量部。
組成R3a:LaromerLR9000、100質量部、Irgacure500、3質量部および酢酸ブチル中のジブチル錫ジラウレートの1質量%溶液10質量部。
LaromerLR9000;イソシアネート官能化アロファネート−ポリウレタンアクリレート。
例3と同様に処理されていないマツ木材片および製造例1によるマツ木材片に水性、アクリレート基変性ポリウレタン分散液(LaromerLR8949、BASF社)を被覆し、UV硬化した。
LaromerLR8949(BASF社):40%水性ポリウレタン分散液、Mn約1000、アクリレート基0.17モル/樹脂100g。
以下の市販された顔料着色液を水:エタノール1:1で固形分3質量%に希釈した。製造例1からのマツ木材片および処理されていないマツ木材片を潤滑油ゲル紙を使用してそれぞれ半分に滑らかに磨いた。引き続き希釈した着色液を被覆し、木材片を50℃で乾燥した。

Claims (20)
- 木材または木材材料の表面を処理する方法であり、以下の工程:
a)木材、木材材料または木材材料を製造する木材物質を、硬化性水性組成物で含浸させる工程、前記組成物は少なくとも1個の架橋性化合物を含有し、前記化合物は
α)少なくとも2個の式CH2OR(Rは水素またはC1〜C4−アルキルである)のN結合基および/または2個の窒素原子に架橋した1,2−ビスヒドロキシエタン−1,2−ジイル基を有する低分子化合物V
β)化合物Vの前縮合物および
γ)化合物Vと、C1〜C6−アルカノール、C2〜C6−ポリオールおよびオリゴアルキレングリコールから選択される、少なくとも1個のアルコールとの反応生成物または混合物から選択される、
b)工程a)で得られた材料を高温で処理し、場合により木材材料に更に処理する工程、および
c)処理すべき木材または木材材料の少なくとも1個の表面を表面処理剤で処理し、場合により自体公知方法で表面処理剤を乾燥する工程
を有する、木材または木材材料の表面を処理する方法。 - 表面処理剤がポリマー結合剤および/またはポリマー結合剤に硬化するプレポリマーを含有する請求項1記載の方法。
- 表面処理剤が熱およびUV線により架橋可能なポリマーおよび/またはプレポリマーを含有する請求項2記載の方法。
- 結合剤がアクリレート基および/またはメタクリレート基を有するポリマーまたはプレポリマーである請求項3記載の方法。
- 結合剤が不飽和ポリエステルを含む請求項3記載の方法。
- 結合剤が熱硬化性二成分系である請求項3記載の方法。
- 表面処理剤がニトロセルロース塗料である請求項2記載の方法。
- 表面処理剤が結合剤として少なくとも1種のアルキド樹脂を含む請求項2記載の方法。
- 表面処理剤が水ベース表面処理剤から選択される請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 表面処理剤が水性ポリマー分散液の形のポリマー結合剤を含む請求項9記載の方法。
- 水性ポリマー分散液が物理的に乾燥する分散液である請求項10記載の方法。
- 水性ポリマー分散液が自己架橋性分散液である請求項10記載の方法。
- 水性ポリマー分散液がアクリレート基および/またはメタクリレート基を有する請求項10記載の方法。
- 表面処理剤が水ベースアルキド樹脂塗料である請求項9記載の方法。
- 表面処理剤が水性着色液である請求項9記載の方法。
- 硬化性組成物の架橋可能な化合物が、
1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)−4,5−ジヒドロキシイミダゾリジン−2−オン、
C1〜C6−アルカノール、C2〜C6−ポリオールまたはオリゴアルキレングリコールで変性される1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)−4,5−ジヒドロキシイミダゾリジノン、
1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)尿素、
1,3−ビス(メトキシメチル)尿素、
1−ヒドロキシメチル−3−メチル尿素、
1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)イミダゾリジン−2−オン(ジメチロールエチレン尿素)、
1,3−ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)−1,3−ヘキサヒドロピリミジン−2−オン(ジメチロールプロピレン尿素)、
1,3−ビス(メトキシメチル)−4,5−ジヒドロキシイミダゾリジン−2−オン(DMeDHEU)、
テトラ(ヒドロキシメチル)アセチレンジ尿素
低分子メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂および
C1〜C6−アルカノール、C2〜C6−ポリオールまたはオリゴアルキレングリコールで変性される低分子メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂(変性MF樹脂)
から選択される請求項1から15までのいずれか1項記載の方法。 - 水性硬化性組成物中の架橋可能な化合物の濃度が組成物の全質量に対して1〜60質量%の範囲である請求項1から16までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 水性組成物が付加的に架橋可能な化合物の硬化を生じる触媒Kを含有する請求項1から17までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 触媒Kが金属ハロゲン化物、金属硫酸塩、金属硝酸塩、金属燐酸塩、金属四フッ化ホウ酸塩、三フッ化ホウ素の群からの金属塩、ハロゲン化アンモニウム、硫酸アンモニウム、蓚酸アンモニウム、および燐酸二アンモニウムからのアンモニウム塩、有機カルボン酸、有機スルホン酸、ホウ酸、燐酸、硫酸および塩酸から選択される請求項18記載の方法。
- 請求項1から19までのいずれか1項記載の方法により得られる表面処理された木材または木材材料。
