Abstract
Description
本発明によれば、ポリマーシートスキン層の使用によってまたはポリマーシートにおけるスキン層領域の形成によって、これらの作用剤をポリマーシート全体にわたって大量に分配する必要なしに、所望の特性を有する中間層の製造を可能にすることが、驚くべきことに今回わかった。

(ポリマーフィルム‖ポリマーシート‖ポリマーフィルム)n。
スキン層またはポリマーシート内に作用剤領域を有する本発明の中間層は、スキン層または作用剤領域内に少なくとも第1性能強化剤を含み、隣接ポリマーシートまたは非作用剤領域は、この第1性能強化剤を実質的に含まない。
本明細書において使用される「ポリマーシート」は、積層窓ガラスパネルに十分な貫通性およびガラス保持特性を付与する中間層として使用するために、単独で適している薄層に、または1層を越える層の積み重ね状態において適している薄層に、任意の方法によって形成されるいかなる熱可塑性ポリマー組成物をも意味する。可塑化ポリ(ビニルブチラール)は、ポリマーシートを形成するために最も一般的に使用される。
本明細書において使用される「ポリマーフィルム」は、性能強化層としての機能を果たす、比較的薄い、剛性ポリマー層を意味する。このポリマーフィルムは、ポリマーフィルムがそれ自体で、必要な耐衝撃性およびガラス保持特性を多層ガラス窓構造体にもたらすことはなく、むしろ、赤外吸収特性などの性能改善をもたらすものであるという点で、本明細書において使用されるポリマーシートとは異なる。ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)が、ポリマーフィルムとして最も一般的に使用される。
Claims (20)
- 第1ポリマーシートを含むポリマースタック(前記第1ポリマーシートは、第1性能強化剤を実質的に含まない。)および
前記ポリマースタックに接触して配置された第2ポリマーシート(前記第2ポリマーシートは、0.4ミリメートル未満の厚さを有し、前記第1性能強化剤を含む。)
を含む中間層。 - 前記第1ポリマーシートおよび前記第2ポリマーシートが、それぞれポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む、請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記第2ポリマーシートが、0.3ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- 前記第2ポリマーシートが、0.25ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマースタックが、前記第1ポリマーシートと前記第2ポリマーシートの間に配置されたポリマーフィルムをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- 前記第2ポリマーシートの反対側に、前記ポリマースタックと接触して配置された第3ポリマーシートをさらに含み、前記第3ポリマーシートは0.4ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- 前記性能強化剤が、接着調整剤、顔料、染料、UV吸収剤およびIR吸収剤からなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- 前記性能強化剤が、接着調整剤、赤外線吸収剤および顔料からなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- ポリマーシートを含み、前記ポリマーシートは作用剤領域および非作用剤領域を含み、前記作用剤領域は性能強化剤を含み、前記作用剤領域は0.4ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する中間層。
- 前記作用剤領域および前記作用剤領域が、それぞれポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む、請求項9に記載の中間層。
- 前記作用剤領域が、0.3ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項10に記載の中間層。
- 前記作用剤領域が、0.125ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項10に記載の中間層。
- 前記性能強化剤が、接着調整剤、顔料、染料、UV吸収剤およびIR吸収剤からなる群から選択される、請求項10に記載の中間層。
- 前記性能強化剤が、接着調整剤、赤外線吸収剤および顔料からなる群から選択される、請求項13に記載の中間層。
- 第1溶融物および第2溶融物を共押し出ししてポリマーシートを形成することを含み、前記ポリマーシートは前記第1溶融物から形成された作用剤領域および前記第2溶融物から形成された非作用剤領域を含み、作用剤領域は0.4ミリメートル未満の厚さを有し、前記第1溶融物は性能強化剤を含む、前記ポリマーシートを製造するための方法。
- 前記第1溶融物および前記第2溶融物が、それぞれポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記作用剤領域が、0.3ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記非作用剤領域が、0.125ミリメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記性能強化剤が、接着調整剤、顔料、染料、UV吸収剤およびIR吸収剤からなる群から選択される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記性能強化剤が、接着調整剤、赤外線吸収剤および顔料からなる群から選択される、請求項19に記載の方法。
