Claims (13)
- 最前部表面及びディスプレイを有する装置であって、前記ディスプレイは、活性状態及び不活性化状態を有し、及び前記装置に組み込まれ、ディスプレイ表面を有し、前記ディスプレイ表面は、少なくとも部分的に前記最前部表面に囲まれ、前記ディスプレイは、光反射部分を有し、前記光反射部分は、前記ディスプレイの不活性化状態では、入射光を反射し、少なくとも部分的に前記ディスプレイ表面を囲む前記最前部表面の視覚的外観に関連して、前記ディスプレイ表面に所望の視覚的外観を提供する、最前部表面及びディスプレイを有する装置。
- 前記光反射部分は、前記ディスプレイ表面に、少なくとも部分的に前記ディスプレイ表面を囲む前記最前部表面の視覚的外観と実質的に同一の視覚的外観を提供する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ自体は、前記ディスプレイの不活性化状態において、特定色の光を反射するために利用される、請求項1又は2記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、前記ディスプレイの切り替え可能な光学層の後ろに位置付けられ及び前記ディスプレイの不活性化状態において特定色の光を反射する反射器を設けられる、請求項3記載の装置。
- 透明カバーは、前記ディスプレイの最上部に適用され、前記透明カバーは、着色を設けられ、前記光反射部分からの反射光と結合された場合、所望の視覚的外観を備えた前記ディスプレイ表面を提供する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記透明カバーは、前記ディスプレイの不活性化状態において、前記光反射部分からの反射光と結合された場合、着色剤を設けられ所望の視覚的外観を提供する、請求項5記載の装置。
- 前記最前部表面と前記ディスプレイ表面との間の変わり目に位置付けられた遷移領域は、ファジイに作られ、前記ディスプレイ表面と前記最前部表面との間の滑らかな視覚的遷移を提供する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、反射型ディスプレイと部分的に反射型であり及び部分的に透過型であるディスプレイとの間で選択される、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、不活性化状態である場合、不活性化状態における所望の視覚的外観に依存して適切な状態に切り替えるよう適応される電気泳動ディスプレイである、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、コレステリックLCDディスプレイであり、前記光反射部分は、LCDディスプレイの液晶層を有し、前記液晶層の色は、前記ディスプレイ表面の所望の視覚的外観を提供するよう適応される、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、LCDディスプレイである、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、金属の着色剤を設けられ及び前記光反射部分を形成する反射器を有する通常白色のLCDディスプレイである、請求項11記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、電気泳動ディスプレイ、双安定コレステリックディスプレイ及び双安定LCDディスプレイの中から選択され、従って前記ディスプレイの不活性化状態においても前記ディスプレイ表面に暗い部分と明るい部分との両方を表示可能であり、前記ディスプレイは、前記ディスプレイの不活性化状態において、少なくとも部分的に前記ディスプレイ表面を囲む前記最前部表面のグラフィカルパターンと一致するグラフィカルパターンを提供する、請求項1記載の装置。
