Abstract
Description
前駆体(原料)材料として、撚りレベルが時計回りの320回転/mで、引張強さが15cN/dtex、引張弾性率が174cN/dtex、および、破断伸びが4.6%の、918dtexの195フィラメントのUHMWPE撚りヤーンを使用した。このヤーンは、公知のゲル紡糸法で得たものであり、ゲルフィラメントは最大限にまで延伸されていない。
これらの実験は、延伸速度をほぼ同一に維持しながら、全体としての延伸比を2.7または3.7として、比較実験Aと同様に行った。パラフィン含量はそれぞれ約11質量%および約10質量%であった。他の試験結果を表1にまとめる。延伸比が大きくなると、モノフィラメント様製品の強さ、結節強さおよび結節強さ残率が高く、破断伸びが延伸比1.9で製造された試料に比べて大きいモノフィラメント様製品が得られることがわかる。耐摩耗性、特にピリング特性は3つの試料全てにおいて類似していた。
Claims (6)
- 多数の連続ポリオレフィンフィラメントを含む前駆体からモノフィラメント様製品を製造する方法であって、前記前駆体を、前記ポリオレフィンの融点範囲内の温度に、隣接する繊維を少なくとも部分的に溶融するのに十分な時間にわたって暴露し、同時に前記前駆体を少なくとも2.7の延伸比で延伸する工程を含む方法。
- 前記延伸比が、2.8〜10である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが、超高モル質量ポリエチレンである請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが、コモノマーを1モル%未満含有する線状ポリエチレンである請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリエチレンが、5〜25dl/gの範囲の固有粘度(デカリン溶液として135℃で測定)を有する請求項3または4に記載の方法。
- 前記フィラメントが、撚りまたはエアー交絡されている請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
