Claims (7)
- 第1の二極式プレート及び第2の二極式プレートを備える燃料電池のための密封構成であって、第1及び第2の二極式プレートの各々は膜電極アッセンブリの両側に各々配置され、該第1及び第2の二極式プレートの各々は、そのエッジに沿って配置された凹領域を備え、前記密封構成は、
前記第1の二極式プレートの凹領域に接着された第1のサブガスケットと、
前記第2の二極式プレートの凹領域に接着された第2のサブガスケットであって、前記第1及び第2のサブガスケットは前記膜電極アッセンブリの両側に各々配置されている、前記第2のサブガスケットと、
前記第1及び第2の二極式プレートの前記凹領域に配置され、前記第1及び第2のサブガスケットの間に配置された、シール部材と、
を備える、密封構成。 - 前記第1のサブガスケットと前記第1の二極式プレートとの間に配置された第1の拡散媒体と、前記第2のサブガスケットと前記第2の二極式プレートとの間に配置された第2の拡散媒体と、を更に備えている、請求項1に記載の密封構成。
- 前記第1及び第2のサブガスケットは、前記膜電極アッセンブリのエッジ部分と重なり合う、請求項1に記載の密封構成。
- 前記膜電極アッセンブリは、前記第1の二極式プレートの前記凹領域と前記シール部材との間に延在する、イオノマー層を備える、請求項1に記載の密封構成。
- 前記イオノマー層と前記シール部材との間に配置された第3のサブガスケットを更に備える、請求項4に記載の密封構成。
- 前記第3のサブガスケットは、その中央部に開口部を有し、該開口部は、前記第1の二極式プレートの前記凹領域のほぼ内側エッジで終わっている内側エッジを備えている、請求項5に記載の密封構成。
- 前記第3のサブガスケットは、前記膜電極アッセンブリと前記第2のサブガスケットとの間に配置されている、請求項5に記載の密封構成。
