Description

The present invention relates to a resin guard rail, and in particular, since it has a resin guard plate having a substantially honeycomb cross section, it can save raw materials, has a strength comparable to a metal guard rail, and has material properties and elasticity due to the honeycomb structure. The present invention relates to a guardrail that can minimize the impact on a driver when a car collides, and that a guard plate emits light at night due to mixing of a fluorescent material, and can ensure the driver's vision during night driving.

In general, guardrails are provided on the shoulders or in the center of the road to prevent cars from jumping off the road or to indicate road boundaries. The guardrail is required to have sufficient strength to absorb the impact when the vehicle collides and to prevent the vehicle from jumping off the road.

However, the conventional guard rail has a simple structure in which the metal guard plate 2 is coupled to the guard rail post 1 and no shock absorbing means is added, as shown in FIG. Join and cause devastating damage to people.

Moreover, since the guard plate of the conventional guard rail is made of metal, it is corroded by long-term use outdoors and must be replaced as appropriate, so that the maintenance cost is high. In addition, the metal guard plate is pressed into a corrugated shape to reinforce or secure a predetermined elastic modulus, which increases the manufacturing process and costs.

In addition, since the guardrail is not visible at night, accidents in which vehicles collide frequently occur. Recently, in order to prevent such an accident, a reflector for reflecting light from a car headlamp is provided on the guardrail, but this requires additional cost.

The present invention has been conceived to solve the above-described problems of the prior art. A main object of the present invention is to provide a low-cost resin guard rail that can mass-produce a guard plate of a guard rail into a corrugated shape by only extruding the resin without any additional process.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a resin guardrail that has high strength in spite of resin because of having a honeycomb internal structure, and retains shock absorbing ability without additional means due to the honeycomb internal structure and resin characteristics. That is.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a resin guardrail that is easily visible at night by adding a fluorescent material to the guard plate.

To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a resin guardrail having a post, a plurality of guard plates coupled to the posts, and a coupling member for coupling the guard plates to each other. Each guard plate of the guard plate is manufactured by extrusion molding. The guard plate has a corrugated cross section, and has a hollow base body having a rear ridge portion projecting rearward and having a flat portion, and a front ridge portion projecting forward. First and second fixing holes are respectively formed in the flat portion and the front ridge portion of the rear ridge portion, and a reinforcing solid portion is provided in a region having the first and second fixing holes. . The guard plate further connects the upper end and the lower end within the hollow portion of the base body, and alternately connects the corrugated ribs having the same cross-sectional shape as the base body, and the corrugated ribs and the corrugated ribs and the inner surface of the base body. And arranged horizontal ribs.

The guard plate may be extruded using a mixture of a resin and a fluorescent material or a luminescent material.

Since the guard plate of the guard rail of the present invention has high strength and elasticity despite the extremely small amount of resin used, it has sufficient performance to prevent the car from jumping off the road and The impact on the driver in the event of a collision can be minimized. Furthermore, nighttime visibility can be ensured by mixing a self-luminous or light reflecting material into the resin.

A preferred embodiment of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to FIGS.

As described above, the guard plate forming the main part of the guard rail is made of resin, and has the following structure in order to increase the strength, which is a weak point of the resin, and to enable manufacture by extrusion molding.

That is, in a guard rail having a post, a plurality of guard plates coupled to the posts, and a coupling member coupling the guard plates, each guard plate 10 has a hollow panel-like base body 100. The base is generally corrugated in cross section and has one or more rear ridges 110 projecting rearward and one or more front ridges 120 projecting forward.

Each rear ridge portion 100 has a flat portion 111. One or more first fixing holes 112 for fixing the guard plate to the post 20 with screws are formed in the flat portion 111. Each front ridge portion 120 is formed with a second fixing hole 121 for fixing the coupling member to the guard plate. In the region where the first and second fixing holes 112 and 121 are formed, a solid portion 130 extending in the longitudinal direction of the guard plate 10 is provided in order to maintain the fixing strength.

A plurality of corrugated ribs 140 are provided in the hollow portion 101 of the base body 100 to connect the upper and lower ends thereof. Horizontal ribs 141 are provided between the adjacent corrugated ribs and between the corrugated ribs and the inner wall of the mother body.

Since the horizontal ribs 141 adjacent in the front-rear direction are alternately arranged, the lattice structure formed by the corrugated ribs and the horizontal ribs is similar to the honeycomb structure. Therefore, the strength of the base in the thickness direction is high, and the guard plate of the present invention has high strength and is not easily broken by an impact from a vehicle. In addition, the lattice space 101a formed by corrugated ribs and horizontal ribs has shock absorption.

When producing a guard plate, an appropriate amount of fluorescent material (or luminescent material) is added to the molten resin, stirred several times for thorough mixing, and the resulting mixture is extruded. Since the obtained guard plate is made of a mixture of a fluorescent substance or a night-light substance and a resin, light is emitted at night by self-emission by a headlamp of a car or light absorbed in the daytime, thereby ensuring nighttime visibility.

The post 20 can be formed of metal or resin. When made of resin, it is preferable to perform insert molding in which the metal core 21 is fitted in order to increase the strength of the post. The anchor portion 22 attached to the lower end portion of the post determines the support force of the post, so that it is preferably made of metal and preferably penetrates the post.

As described above, since the guard plate of the guard rail of the present invention has high strength and elasticity even if the amount of resin used is suppressed as much as possible, the guard plate has sufficient performance to prevent the car from jumping out of the road. The impact on the driver in the event of a collision can be minimized. Further, when a self-luminous or photoreceptive material is mixed in the resin, night visibility by a driver can be ensured.
