Claims (8)
- 検知ガスの存在を検知するためのガスセンサであって、検知ガスに関して選択的に透過性の壁(12)を有する検出室(11)と、検知ガスを吸収するゲッタポンプ(30)を内蔵するポンプ室(32)と、該ポンプ室(32)と前記検出室(11)とを接続する絞り通路(20)とが設けられている形式のものにおいて、 検出室(11)に内蔵された圧力センサ(14)が、検知ガスの侵入により生ぜしめられる圧力増大を検出することを特徴とする、ガスセンサ。
- 圧力センサ(14)が、ペニング放電の原理に従ってガス圧力に関連した電流を供給する、請求項1記載のガスセンサ。
- 前記の選択的に透過性の壁(12,13)が、水素及び水素の同位元素に関して透過性である、請求項1又は2記載のガスセンサ。
- 壁(12)が、パラジウムを含有する膜(13)を有している、請求項3記載のガスセンサ。
- 膜(13)がケイ素製の支持体に配置されており、該支持体がガラス製の検出室と結合されている、請求項4記載のガスセンサ。
- 選択的に透過性の壁が加熱可能である、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載のガスセンサ。
- 水素に関して選択的に透過性の壁(12;54)を有する容器(31;51)内の、水素を吸着するゲッタ材料(33;53)を再生させるために加熱し、これにより、水素をゲッタ材料から前記壁を介して大気中へ漏出させることを特徴とする、水素を吸い出すためのゲッタポンプ(30;50)の運転法。
- 壁(12,13;54)を加熱する、請求項7記載の運転法。
