以下、接続用ニップル5と圧縮スリーブ15を用いたホースの接続について説明する。
Claims (12)
- 流体搬送ライン又はアセンブリ(3)に対してホース(2)を接続するために用いられる接続装置(1)であって、
流路と、円筒形状又は円錐台形状の周面(6)を有し、この周囲を囲む環状リング(7)を備えた接続用ニップル(5)と、
ホース継手区間(17)と、前記環状リング(7)と関連して塑性変形可能な接続領域(16)を有する圧縮スリーブ(15)とを備え、前記接続領域(16)は、前記環状リング(7)の上方で、被さるように延び、前記圧縮スリーブ(15)を軸方向で前記接続用ニップル(5)上の位置に保持させることを特徴とする接続装置。 - 前記接続領域(16)は、前記ホース継手区間(17)の壁の厚さ(D)よりも大きな壁の厚さ(D)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の接続装置。
- 前記ホース継手区間(17)は、主に中空の円筒形状の形態を有し、少なくとも一つの領域(26、27)で、塑性変形により径方向内側に向って変形されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の接続装置。
- 前記ホース継手区間(17)は、接続される前記ホース(2)の外径にほぼ相当する内径を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の接続装置。
- 前記圧縮スリーブ(15)は、前記ホース継手区間(17)と前記接続領域(16)の間で、径方向内側に向う環状の肩部(21)を有し、これを前記ホース(2)の終端面と当接させるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の接続装置。
- 前記接続領域(17)は、前記ホース(2)と前記環状リング(7)の間に位置し、径方向内側に向って環状に突出する形態のサポート区間(18)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の接続装置。
- 前記突出する部位には、径方向内側に面する狭い円筒形状の環状面(21)を備え、この環状面(21)は、前記環状リング(7)の外径よりも小さな直径を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の接続装置。
- 前記環状面(21)の直径は、前記周面(6)の直径に相当し、前記環状リング(7)とじかに隣接して最小のあそびを有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の接続装置。
- 前記接続区間(17)の前記塑性変形される領域(16)と前記サポート区間(18)の間であそびがないように、前記環状リング(7)をきつく軸方向に保持させることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の接続装置。
- 前記接続領域(16)の前記塑性変形される領域は、前記環状リング(7)と面一にされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の接続装置。
- 前記塑性変形される接続領域(16)は、鋭角の縁部(28)で終端し、この縁部は、前記環状リング(7)の一方の端部と当接することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の接続装置。
- ホースを接続する方法であって、請求項1に記載の圧縮スリーブ(15)を用いて行われ、前記圧縮スリーブ(15)の接続領域(16)を、環状リング(7)の上方で滑動させて、さらに、径方向内側に圧縮させたことを特徴とする方法。
