Description
・チューブ端部形状を機械加工することなく、金属チューブをエラストマー製のホースと接続することを可能にし、
・端部の構成の側方負荷による移動を低減し、シール摩耗を低減させ、
・Oリングシール部材とスペーサとの間におけるテフロン(登録商標)補助リングの必要性をなくしており、本願の構成においては、外側スペーサが補助リングの役割を果たしており、
・継手の軸受け壁部に対して雄型チューブ端部構成が圧入されることにより、Oリングに対する圧力量を低減し、
・汚染物を密封除外して、シールを保護し腐食作用を低減するものである。
Claims (9)
- 可撓性ホースを剛性金属チューブに流体連通関係に連結するコネクタ継手であって、該コネクタ継手は、
端部を有する中空可撓性ホースと、
自由端部と、前記自由端部から離間したアップセットと、前記自由端部と前記アップセットとの間に延在する円筒状外表面とを有する剛性金属チューブと、
本体と、
を備え、
該本体は、
ホース受容内孔を画定するホース側端部と、
チューブ受容内孔を画定するチューブ側端部と、
前記ホース受容内孔内の中空円筒部と、を備え、
前記チューブ受容内孔は、拡径内孔部分と、前記拡径内孔部分より内側にあって前記中空円筒部と流体連通関係にある縮径内孔部分と、前記縮径内孔部分と前記拡径内孔部分とを分ける半径方向環状壁部と、を含み、
前記縮径内孔部分は、前記縮径内孔部分と前記拡径内孔部分とを分ける前記半径方向環状壁部から離間している、軸方向の最も内側にある環状壁部で終端しており、
前記ホース受容内孔内に前記ホース端部が配置されるようにして前記ホースは前記中空円筒部に嵌合するように配置され、
前記チューブの前記自由端部は、前記最も内側にある環状壁部に接触して前記縮径内孔部分に配置され、前記アップセットは、前記縮径内孔部分と前記拡径内孔部分とを分ける前記半径方向環状壁部から離間され、且つ、前記チューブの前記アップセットは前記拡径内孔部分に配置されるように前記チューブが前記チューブ受容内孔内に配置され、
第一のシール部材が、前記半径方向環状壁部と前記アップセットの間において、前記円筒状外表面のまわりに配置され、
前記チューブ側端部は、縮径環状壁部部分を有し、
前記縮径環状壁部部分は、前記チューブ側端部において、前記アップセットから離れるように延在する前記チューブの円筒状外表面のある長さに沿って、前記円筒状外表面に圧着される圧着部を形成するようにされており、
第二のシール部材が、前記アップセットと前記本体の前記縮径環状壁部部分の前記圧着部との間で前記チューブに配置されている、コネクタ継手。
- 前記本体の前記ホース受容内孔は前記円筒部を包囲する環状壁部を含み、
前記本体の前記ホース側端部の前記環状壁部は前記ホースに圧着される、請求項1に記載のコネクタ継手。
- 前記縮径内孔部分はしまりばめの態様で前記剛性金属チューブを受容する、請求項2に記載のコネクタ継手。
- 前記拡径内孔部分は前記チューブ上の前記アップセットを受容するような寸法とされている、請求項3に記載のコネクタ継手。
- 前記チューブは、前記圧着部と前記最も内側にある環状壁部との間において軸方向移動が抑制されている、請求項4に記載のコネクタ継手。
- 前記軸方向において最も内側にある環状壁部から前記半径方向環状壁部までの前記縮径内孔部分の長さが、該チューブの該自由端部から前記アップセットまでの距離に比べて短くなっており、前記継手は、前記半径方向環状壁部と前記アップセットの間で前記チューブ上に配置される前記第一のシール部材を含む、請求項5に記載のコネクタ継手。
- 前記継手は、前記第一のシール部材と前記アップセットの間において前記チューブの前記円筒状外表面を包囲する環状スペーサを含む、請求項6に記載のコネクタ継手。
- 前記第一のシール部材がOリングシールである、請求項7に記載のコネクタ継手。
- 前記第一のシール部材及び前記第二のシール部材が共にOリングシールである、請求項7に記載のコネクタ継手。
