Abstract
【解決手段】製膜されたポリエステルフィルム18の表裏面のうちの一方面を、近赤外線ヒーター30からの輻射熱で加熱しながら縦延伸する際に、近赤外線ヒーター30の輻射熱は、ポリエステルフィルム18の一方面に輻射される熱エネルギー全体のうち20%以上50%以下の熱エネルギーが一方面から他方面へ透過可能な透過率の波長帯で構成されている。

Claims (12)
- 帯状の熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの表裏面のうちの一方面を、輻射熱で加熱しながら縦延伸する縦延伸工程を備えた延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法において、
前記輻射熱は、前記熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの一方面に輻射される熱エネルギー全体のうち20%以上50%以下の熱エネルギーが前記一方面から他方面へ透過可能な透過率の波長帯で構成されていることを特徴とする延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。 - 前記熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの厚さに応じて前記透過率になるように前記波長帯をシフトすることを特徴とする請求項1の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの厚さは、前記縦延伸する前において800μm以上4000μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂フィルムは、ポリエステルフィルムであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂フィルムは、前記輻射熱の加熱により、前記一方面と他方面の温度差が20℃以下となるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記輻射熱は、最大エネルギー波長が0.8μm以上2.5μm以下の近赤外線であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記縦延伸工程の終了時点における前記延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルム表裏面のX線回折のピーク高さは、前記フィルム表裏面のうちピーク高さの小さい面のピーク高さを100としたときにピーク高さの大きな面のピーク高さが200%以下の関係にあり、且つ前記終了時点での前記フィルム表裏面のフィルム搬送方向における屈折率の差が0.04以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記縦延伸工程の後に横延伸工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか1の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムは、前記横延伸後のカール値が20mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造方法により製造されたことを特徴とする光学フィルム用ベースフィルム。
- 帯状の熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの表裏面のうちの一方面を、輻射熱式の加熱手段で加熱しながら縦延伸する縦延伸工程を備えた熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造装置において、
前記加熱手段は、前記熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの一方面に輻射される熱エネルギー全体のうち20%以上50%以下の熱エネルギーが前記一方面から他方面へ透過する透過率を有する波長帯の輻射熱であることを特徴とする延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造装置。 - 前記加熱手段は、最大エネルギー波長が0.8μm以上2.5μm以下の近赤外線であるとともに、
前記熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの厚さに応じて前記透過率になるように波長帯を制御する制御手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項11の延伸熱可塑性樹脂フィルムの製造装置。
