Abstract
【解決手段】基板と、基板の上方に設けられた非磁性グラニュラ層と、非磁性グラニュラ層上に設けられた記録層とを備え、非磁性グラニュラ層は、略柱状の磁性粒子の周りに非磁性材料が偏析した状態のhcp結晶構造或いはfcc結晶構造のCoCr系合金であるように構成する。

基板と、
該基板の上方に設けられた非磁性グラニュラ層と、
該非磁性グラニュラ層上に設けられた記録層とを備え、
該非磁性グラニュラ層は、略柱状の磁性粒子の周りに非磁性材料が偏析した状態のhcp結晶構造或いはfcc結晶構造のCoCr系合金であることを特徴とする、磁気記録媒体。
(付記2)
前記CoCr系合金はCoCrX1合金からなり、X1はPt,Ta,Ruからなるグループから選択された1つの元素であり、前記非磁性材料はSiO2,TiO2,Cr−Ox,Ta2O5,ZrO2,SiN,TiN,CrN,TaN,ZrNからなるグループから選択された材料を少なくとも1種類以上含むことを特徴とする、磁気記録媒体。
(付記3)
該記録層は、略柱状の磁性粒子の周りに非磁性材料が偏析した状態のhcp結晶構造のCo合金からなることを特徴とする、付記1又は2記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記4)
該記録層を構成するCo合金は、CoFe,CrCr,CoCrPt,CoCrPtBからなるグループから選択された1つの材料からなり、該記録層を構成する非磁性材料はSiO2,TiO2,Cr−Ox,Ta2O5,ZrO2,SiN,TiN,CrN,TaN,ZrNからなるグループから選択された材料を少なくとも1種類以上含むことを特徴とする、付記3記載の磁気記録媒体。

該記録層は、単層構造を有することを特徴とする、付記1〜3のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。

該記録層は、多層構造を有し、略柱状の磁性粒子の周りに非磁性材料が偏析した状態のhcp結晶構造のCo合金からなり主記録層として機能する下側グラニュラ磁性層と、該下側グラニュラ磁性層上に設けられCo合金からなり記録補助層として機能する上側磁性層とを有することを特徴とする、付記1又は2記載の磁気記録媒体。

該下側グラニュラ磁性層を構成するCo合金は、CoFe,CrCr,CoCrPt,CoCrPtBからなるグループから選択された1つの材料からなり、該下側グラニュラ磁性層を構成する非磁性材料はSiO2,TiO2,Cr−Ox,Ta2O5,ZrO2,SiN,TiN,CrN,TaN,ZrNからなるグループから選択された材料を少なくとも1種類以上含むことを特徴とする、付記6記載の磁気記録媒体。

非磁性中間層を更に備え、
該非磁性グラニュラ層は該非磁性中間層上に設けられていることを特徴とする、付記1〜7のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記9)
該中間層は、hcp結晶構造を有するRu又はRuX2合金からなり、X2はCo,Cr,W,Reからなるグループから選択された1種類以上の元素を含むことを特徴とする、付記8記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記10)
該基板の上方に設けられた軟磁性裏打ち層と、
該軟磁性裏打ち層上に設けられた配向制御層とを更に備え、
該非磁性中間層は該配向制御層上に設けられていることを特徴とする、付記8又は9記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記11)
該配向制御層は、NiCrからなることを特徴とする、付記10記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記12)
該軟磁性裏打ち層は、Co合金からなる下側裏打ち層と、該下側裏打ち層上に設けられRuからなる磁区制御層、該磁区制御層上に設けられCo合金からなる上側裏打ち層とを有することを特徴とする、付記10又は11記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記13)
該軟磁性裏打ち層は、Co合金からなるAPS−SUL(Anti-Parallel Structure-Soft magnetic Underlayer)からなることを特徴とする、付記10記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記14)
該基板上に設けられたシード層を更に備え、
該シード層上には該軟磁性裏打ち層が設けられていることを特徴とする、付記10又は11記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記15)
該シード層は、CrTi合金からなることを特徴とする、付記14記載の磁気記録媒体。
(付記16)
該基板は、ガラス基板、カーボン基板、プラスチック基板、NiPめっきが施されたAl合金基板、シリコン基板、PET(Poly Ethylene Terephthalate)基板、PEN(Poly Ethylene Naphthalate)基板、ポリイミド(Polyimide)基板からなるグループから選択された1つの基板であることを特徴とする、付記1〜15のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。

ヘッドと、
付記1〜16のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体を少なくとも1つ備えたことを特徴とする、磁気記憶装置。

Claims (11)
- 基板と、
該基板の上方に設けられた非磁性グラニュラ層と、
該非磁性グラニュラ層上に設けられた記録層とを備え、
該非磁性グラニュラ層は、略柱状の磁性粒子の周りに非磁性材料が偏析した状態のhcp結晶構造或いはfcc結晶構造のCoCr系合金であることを特徴とする、磁気記録媒体。 - 前記CoCr系合金はCoCrX1合金からなり、X1はPt,Ta,Ruからなるグループから選択された1つの元素であり、前記非磁性材料はSiO2,TiO2,Cr−Ox,Ta2O5,ZrO2,SiN,TiN,CrN,TaN,ZrNからなるグループから選択された材料を少なくとも1種類以上含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該記録層は、略柱状の磁性粒子の周りに非磁性材料が偏析した状態のhcp結晶構造のCo合金からなることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該記録層を構成するCo合金は、CoFe,CrCr,CoCrPt,CoCrPtBからなるグループから選択された1つの材料からなり、該記録層を構成する非磁性材料はSiO2,TiO2,Cr−Ox,Ta2O5,ZrO2,SiN,TiN,CrN,TaN,ZrNからなるグループから選択された材料を少なくとも1種類以上含むことを特徴とする、請求項3記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該記録層は、多層構造を有し、略柱状の磁性粒子の周りに非磁性材料が偏析した状態のhcp結晶構造のCo合金からなり主記録層として機能する下側グラニュラ磁性層と、該下側グラニュラ磁性層上に設けられCo合金からなり記録補助層として機能する上側磁性層とを有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該下側グラニュラ磁性層を構成するCo合金は、CoFe,CrCr,CoCrPt,CoCrPtBからなるグループから選択された1つの材料からなり、該下側グラニュラ磁性層を構成する非磁性材料はSiO2,TiO2,Cr−Ox,Ta2O5,ZrO2,SiN,TiN,CrN,TaN,ZrNからなるグループから選択された材料を少なくとも1種類以上含むことを特徴とする、請求項5記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 非磁性中間層を更に備え、
該非磁性グラニュラ層は該非磁性中間層上に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。 - 該中間層は、hcp結晶構造を有するRu又はRuX2合金からなり、X2はCo,Cr,W,Reからなるグループから選択された1種類以上の元素を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該基板の上方に設けられた軟磁性裏打ち層と、
該軟磁性裏打ち層上に設けられた配向制御層とを更に備え、
該非磁性中間層は該配向制御層上に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項7又は8記載の磁気記録媒体。 - 該基板は、ガラス基板、カーボン基板、プラスチック基板、NiPめっきが施されたAl合金基板、シリコン基板、PET(Poly Ethylene Terephthalate)基板、PEN(Poly Ethylene Naphthalate)基板、ポリイミド(Polyimide)基板からなるグループから選択された1つの基板であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。
- ヘッドと、
請求項1〜10のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体を少なくとも1つ備えたことを特徴とする、磁気記憶装置。
