Abstract
【解決手段】アニオン性芳香族化合物(a)と、カチオン性界面活性剤(b)と、水とを混合して得られる増粘体を所定温度に加熱して乾燥工程に供して、カチオン性界面活性剤(b)を含有する粉体を製造する。

Description
本発明に用いられる増粘体は、微細で物性の良好な粉体を得るために、カチオン性ポリマーを含有することが好ましい。カチオン性ポリマー(c)としては、カチオン性窒素を含むカチオン性ポリマー、更に、分子中に4級塩構造を有するポリマー、なかでもカチオン性窒素が、第4級窒素であるカチオン性ポリマーが挙げられる。
また、カチオン性ポリマー(c)としては、ジエチレントリアミン、トリエチレンテトラミン、テトラエチレンペンタミン、ジプロピレントリアミン、トリプロピレンテトラミン等のポリアルキレンポリアミンおよび、ポリアルキレンポリアミンに炭素数2〜4のアルキレンオキサイドを付加させたポリマーが挙げられ、いずれも中和型でも未中和型でも使用できる。

工程1:増粘体の薄膜を、該薄膜の保持手段に形成する工程
工程2:工程1で形成された薄膜を加熱手段により加熱して乾燥する工程
工程3:工程2で乾燥された薄膜を保持手段から剥離する工程
増粘体、並びにアニオン性芳香族化合物(a)の水溶液、カチオン性界面活性剤(b)の水溶液及びこれらの混合物の粘度は、20℃の条件でB型粘度計(ローターNo.3)で測定した。
〔粉体の製造〕
グラスライニング攪拌槽(容積1.3m3)に、p−トルエンスルホン酸ナトリウム〔アニオン性芳香族化合物(a)、花王株式会社製〕の水溶液(S1)(濃度20重量%)500kgと、パルミチルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライド〔カチオン性界面活性剤(b)、花王株式会社製〕とステアリルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライド〔カチオン性界面活性剤(b)、花王株式会社製〕の重量比1対1(有効分換算)混合物の水溶液(S2)(濃度29重量%)500kgと、消泡剤0.2kg(FSアンチフォームQ1−1183の原液:東レ・ダウコーニング社製)とを投入し、70℃に加温するとともに攪拌速度50rpm(攪拌羽根:形状;ファウドラー翼、寸法;翼径/胴径=0.5)で30分間攪拌して増粘体を調製する。増粘体の70℃における粘度は155mPa・sであった。
得られた粉体について、以下の評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
(1)水分測定
赤外線水分計(ケット株式会社製)に、製造から1日後の粉体4gを仕込み、水分量を測定した。
卓上フルイ振とう器(アズワン株式会社製:MVS−1)に、製造から1日後の最終粉体20gを投入し、5分間振とう(目盛り5)させた後、目開き250μmの篩いをパスした粒子の比率(重量%)を測定した。この数値が大きいほど良好な粉末である。
最終粉体を縦7cm、横6cmのビニール袋に詰め、荷重0.18kg/cm2で、温度20℃、湿度60%RHの条件で1ヶ月間保存した後のケーキングの発生状況を観察し、以下の基準で判定した。
○:ケーキングの発生が認められない。
△:一部、ケーキングの発生が見られるが、指で容易に粉末に戻る。
×:ケーキングが多数発生する。
実施例1において、水溶液S1の水の一部を10重量%の濃度となるポリメタクリロイルオキシエチルジメチルエチルアンモニウム塩(カチオン性ポリマー(c)、重量平均分子量12万)に置き換えた水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして粉体を製造した。得られた粉体について、実施例1と同様に評価した。結果を表1に示す。乾燥前の増粘体の70℃における粘度は180mPa・sであった。
実施例1において、乾燥をドラムドライヤーとコニカルドライヤーとを用いて行った以外は同様にして粉体を製造した。その際、ドラムドライヤーのドラム回転速度を2.5rpmとし、水分量が5〜10重量%となった乾燥物200kgをコニカルドライヤーに仕込み、4.5rpmで4時間の乾燥を行った後、水分量が2重量%以下になった乾燥物を粉砕機にて粉砕した。得られた粉体について、実施例1と同様に評価した。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、水溶液S1を用いない以外は同様にして粉体を製造したが、スクレーバーで剥離後、冷却する間に粉体が直ちに吸湿した(その時点で水分量は20重量%を超えていた)ため、粉砕は困難であった。よって、実施例1のような試験を行うことができなかった。比較例1は、カチオン性界面活性剤(b)の水溶液から粉体を製造しようとしたものである。

上記実施例で得られた粉体を用いてスラリーに対するレオロジー改質評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。スラリーは、普通ポルトランドセメント(太平洋セメント(株)製、密度3.16)400g、実施例1〜3の何れかの粉体5g(有効分換算)をドライブレンドし、水道水400gを加えてハンドミキサー(ナショナル製)で120秒攪拌して調製した。スラリー試験は室温23℃で行い、スラリー温度が20℃になるように練り水の温度を調整した。
水を除いた表3の配合に示した各種材料、実施例1〜3の何れかの粉体0.13kgおよび消泡剤(シリコーン系消泡剤、主成分:ジメチルポリシロキサン)0.1kgを、300Lスーパーミキサー(オリンピア化工機製)に仕込み、200rpmで攪拌しながら、10分間混合した。混合後、3mmメッシュの振動振るい機に通過させ、プレミックス品を得た。
測定方法:
・フロー試験:モルタルコーン(JIS R 5201適用品)
・水中不分離試験:実施例4と同様
・ブリーディング水:実施例4と同様
セメント(C):早強セメント(密度 3.14 市販品)
砂(S):7号硅砂(密度 2.60)
水(W):水道水
分散剤:マイテイ21P(花王製:ポリエーテル系分散剤粉末品)
Claims (8)
- カチオン性界面活性剤(b)を含有する粉体の製造方法であって、水とアニオン性芳香族化合物(a)とカチオン性界面活性剤(b)とを混合して得られる増粘体を乾燥させる工程(以下、乾燥工程という)を有する、粉体の製造方法であって、50〜120℃に加熱された増粘体を乾燥工程に供する粉体の製造方法。
- さらに、前記増粘体がカチオン性ポリマー(c)を含有する請求項1記載の粉体の製造方法。
- 増粘体が、温度60〜80℃のいずれかの温度で50〜500mPa・sのいずれかの粘度を有する請求項1又は2記載の粉体の製造方法。
- 下記の工程1〜3を有する請求項1〜3いずれか記載の粉体の製造方法。
工程1:前記増粘体の薄膜を、該薄膜の保持手段に形成する工程
工程2:工程1で形成された薄膜を加熱して乾燥する工程
工程3:工程2で乾燥された薄膜を保持手段から剥離する工程 - 請求項1〜4の何れか1項記載の製造方法により得られた粉体であって、水の含有量が5重量%以下である粉体。
- 請求項5記載の粉体を、水を含有する組成物に添加するレオロジー改質方法。
- 請求項5記載の粉体と水硬性粉体を含有する水硬性組成物プレミックス。
- 更に骨材を含有する請求項7記載の水硬性組成物プレミックス。
