Abstract
【解決手段】車輪2のキャンバー角がネガティブキャンバーに調整されると、第1トレッド21の接地が増加されると共に、第2トレッド22の接地が減少される。これにより、高グリップ性または静粛性が発揮される。一方、車輪2のキャンバー角がポジティブキャンバーに調整されると、第1トレッド21の接地が減少されると共に、第2トレッド22の接地が増加される。これにより、低転がり抵抗となり、省燃費が達成される。このように、車輪2のキャンバー角を調整することで、高グリップ性又は静粛性と省燃費との背反する性能の両立を図ることができる。

Claims (4)
- 車輪と、その車輪のキャンバー角を調整するキャンバー角調整装置とを備える車両に対し、前記キャンバー角調整装置を作動させて、前記車輪のキャンバー角を制御する車両用制御装置であって、
前記キャンバー角調整装置の作動状態を制御する作動制御手段を備え、
前記車輪は、第1トレッドと、その第1トレッドに対して前記車輪の幅方向に並設され前記車両の内側又は外側に配置される第2トレッドと、を備えると共に、
前記第1トレッドと第2トレッドとが互いに異なる特性に構成され、前記第1トレッドは、前記第2トレッドに比して、グリップ力の高い特性に構成されると共に、前記第2トレッドは、前記第1トレッドに比して、転がり抵抗の小さい特性に構成され、
前記作動制御手段は、
前記車両の周辺における周辺情報を取得する周辺情報取得手段と、
その周辺情報取得手段により取得された周辺情報に基づいて、前記車輪に必要とされる特性を判断する特性判断手段と、
その判断手段により判断された特性を前記車輪が発揮するように、前記キャンバー角調整装置を作動させて前記車輪のキャンバー角を変更するキャンバー角変更手段と、を備えることを特徴とする車両量制御装置。 - 前記周辺情報取得手段は、
前記車両の現在位置を検出する現在位置検出手段と、
地図データを記憶する地図データ記憶手段と、
前記地図データ記憶手段に記憶された地図データ及び前記現在位置検出手段により検出された前記車両の現在位置に基づいて、前記車両の走行経路の状況を前記周辺情報として取得する状況取得手段と、を備え、
前記特性判断手段は、前記状況取得手段により前記周辺情報として取得された前記走行経路の状況に基づいて、前記車輪に必要とされる特性を判断することを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両制御装置。 - 前記周辺情報取得手段は、
前記車両と他車との相対位置関係を前記周辺情報として取得する相対位置取得手段を備え、
前記特性判断手段は、前記相対位置取得手段により前記周辺情報として取得された前記他車との相対位置関係に基づいて、前記車輪に必要とされる特性を判断することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両制御装置。 - 前記作動制御手段は、時刻を取得する時刻取得手段を備え、
前記特性判断手段は、前記時刻取得手段により取得された時刻と、前記状況取得手段により取得された周辺情報とに基づいて、前記車輪に必要とされる特性を判断することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両制御装置。
