Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明になる補修方法は、次の工程を含むことを特徴とするものである。
a)前記不良かしめ部を前記被結合体の表面から除去する工程
b)除去した不良かしめ部とほぼ同じ体積の前記成形品の素材と同じ熱可塑性樹脂からなるペレットを準備する工程
c)前記ペレットを前記嵌合穴の中心に位置合わせして前記不良熱かしめ部除去後の前記成形品のボスの残存部上に載置する工程
d)前記ペレットを前記ヒータチップで加熱し、このぺレットと前記嵌合穴の前記成形品のボスの残存部とを熱かしめする工程。

Description
熱かしめ装置による固着方法としては、金属製等の他の部品の取付孔に熱可塑性樹脂性部品の片面に突設された溶着ボスを位置決めした後前記溶着ボスを前記取付孔に嵌挿してその先端部を他方側に突出させ、この先端部にかしめピン(ヒータチップと同等の機能を備える)を押し当て、熱かしめ開始と同時に所定温度(溶着ボスを熱変形させる温度)に加熱して前記溶着ボスの先端部の前記取付孔の径よりも大きな径まで熱変形させて固着している。この後、かしめピンを冷却して所定の温度以下に低下するのを待って溶着ボスの先端からかしめピンを離反させることで、熱かしめの工程が終了する。
本発明は、上記課題を解決するために、このような観点からなされたもので不良かしめ部となる溶着後のボスを除去し、この除去した溶着後のボスと同じ体積で同じ熱可塑性樹脂からなるペレットを用いて、このペレットと残存するボスを再熱かしめすることで容易に熱かしめ部を補修する方法を提供することを目的とする。
a)前記不良かしめ部を前記被結合体の表面から除去する工程
b)除去した不良かしめ部とほぼ同じ体積の前記成形品の素材と同じ熱可塑性樹脂からなるペレットを準備する工程
c)前記ペレットを前記嵌合穴の中心に位置合わせして前記不良熱かしめ部除去後の前記成形品のボスの残存部上に載置する工程
d)前記ペレットを前記ヒータチップで加熱し、このぺレットと前記嵌合穴の前記成形品のボスの残存部とを熱かしめする工程。
そして、この熱かしめ部の補修方法は、成形品の素材と同じ熱硬化性樹脂からなるペレットを用いて、加熱と荷重を加えることにより、別々に作成されたペレットと成形品を溶融凝固させることができるので、被結合体の板厚が薄いようなときには、この補修方法を用いることで成形品にボスを形成しない場合でも熱かしめ用途に使用が可能であるという効果もある。更にいえば、成形品の構造上の観点から十分なかしめ用の体積を持ったボスを形成できない場合でも、ペレットを追加することで熱かしめ部の強度不足を補うことができたり、美観の向上を図ることができるという効果もある。
図1は本発明を実施するための最良の形態を示す熱かしめ装置の概略構成図、図2はこの熱かしめ装置を使用した不良熱かしめ部補修方法を示す概略フローチャート図、図3および図4は不良熱かしめ部の補修方法の工程ごとの熱かしめ部に相当する部位の概略断面図、図5および図6は熱かしめ動作時の一部の工程の熱かしめ部に相当する部位の概略断面図である。
不良熱かしめ部の補修方法を説明する前に熱かしめ作業について説明する。
まず、成形品1と被結合体2を準備し(図5の(a))、成形品1のボス1aを被結合体2の嵌合穴2aに挿通する(図5の(b))。
次に作業者は熱かしめ装置全体の電源を投入し、熱かしめ対象物に応じて各種のパラメータを設定する。そして、溶着ヘッド23を手に持って移動させ、溶着ヘッド23の先端のヒータチップ23aが熱かしめ対象となるボス1aに位置合わせするようにして溶着ヘッド23を位置合わせする(図5の(c))。そして溶着ヘッド23がボス1aに到達したことを作業者の感覚で検知する。
以上のような熱かしめ作業において、作業者は細心の注意を払って熱かしめ部に溶着ヘッド23aを位置合わせする。そして位置合わせが上手くいった場合は、図5(d)に示すように熱かしめによる溶着ボス1aaが嵌合穴2aの中心を中心として形成されるから、高品質の熱かしめを行うことができる。
熱かしめ作業終了後、熱かしめ部の位置が適切であるか否か位置検査を行う工程に送られる(図2のS102)。そして位置検査が行われ、熱かしめ位置が不良か否か検査される(図2のS103)。この検査で位置不良でないと判定されたものは補修が不要となる(図2のS104)。一方位置不良と判定されたときには、その溶着ボス1aaを例えば鋭利なカッターナイフなどの切断機4で被結合体2の表面を境にして切断により除去する(図2のS105、図3の(b))。
本発明は上述のように不良熱かしめ部の補修を目的とするものであるが、板厚の薄い被結合体をボス部が形成されていない成形品と熱かしめするときにも使用できる。
つまり、次のような手順で熱かしめを実行する。

Claims (1)
- ヒータチップに電流を供給することにより一体成形されたボスを有する熱可塑性樹脂を用いた成形品と、前記ボスと嵌合する嵌合穴を有する被結合体とを熱かしめしたときに発生する不良かしめ部の補修方法であって、次の工程からなることを特徴とする熱かしめ部の補修方法。
a)前記不良かしめ部を前記被結合体の表面から除去する工程
b)除去した不良かしめ部とほぼ同じ体積の前記成形品の素材と同じ熱可塑性樹脂からなるペレットを準備する工程
c)前記ペレットを前記嵌合穴の中心に位置合わせして前記不良熱かしめ部除去後の前記成形品のボスの残存部上に載置する工程
d)前記ペレットを前記ヒータチップで加熱し、このぺレットと前記嵌合穴の前記成形品のボスの残存部とを熱かしめする工程。
