Description
a.熱可塑性樹脂で成形された成形品側に溶着ボスを突設し、この溶着ボスを被固定物側に形成した固定孔に通し、この固定孔から突き出た溶着ボスの先端側を加熱溶融して被固定物の外側に膨大部を形成することにより、成形品に被固定物をカシメ留めした製品において、
b.前記膨大部の周囲であって、被固定物の表面において溶着ボスの外径より外に拡大している部分のみをカットして除去することにより溶着ボスの先端側を被固定物の表面上にそのまま残す工程、
c.前記カシメ留めされていた被固定物を溶着ボスから取り外したのち、再度当該被固定物を溶着ボスに取り付ける工程、
d.前記溶着ボスに被固定物を再取付けした後、被固定物から突出している溶着ボスの先端上に樹脂ペレットを戴置する工程、
e.発熱している溶着チップを前記樹脂ペレット上に押し当てながら押し下げることにより、前記樹脂ペレット及び溶着ボスを溶融してこの溶融した樹脂ペレットにより被固定物の表面に再度膨大部を形成し、カシメ留めを行うこと、を特徴とするものである。

の軸部はそのまま残存させ、この残存させた溶着ボスの先端上に樹脂ペレットを戴置し、この樹脂ペレットを溶着チップで溶融するときに残存している溶着ボスの先端を一緒に溶融するものである。
却後のカシメ留め部分において引っ張りと剪断強度を最初のカシメ留め時と同等に高めることができる。

その後図4(c)のように成形品30の溶着ボス31から被固定物34を取り外して分離作業を完了する。
成形品の樹脂はABS、熱カシメ部の寸法はボス径φ2mm、熱カシメ凸0.8mm、凸部R2mmで、通常の熱溶着カシメを設定温度220℃加熱5秒で行った場合、引っ張り強度は104.4N(N=8の平均、以下同様)である。(使用した強度計 イマダ DPS-201)
条件1(図9)
再溶着カシメ温度設定220℃加熱5秒では48Nで前記通常溶着の約半分の強度であった。
条件2(図10)
再溶着カシメ温度を250℃に変更することで引っ張り強度は平均94.6N ばらつき範囲は92.4〜97.4Nであり安定して再溶着カシメされ、通常の溶着とほぼ同等の強度であった。これにより本出願による再溶着カシメが実用に耐える強度を有することが確認できた。
・再カシメの剪断強度評価
実施例1による再溶着カシメ部42の剪断強度測定方法を図11、測定結果を図12に示す。
測定方法(図11)
T=2mmの鋼板43にφ3.3の穴44を設け、再溶着熱カシメ部42に勘合し、横方向から引っ張り荷重Fを加え、再溶着熱カシメ部42の剪断強度を測定した。
成形品30の樹脂はABS、熱カシメ部の寸法はボス径φ2mm、熱カシメ凸0.8mm、凸部R2mmで、通常の熱溶着カシメを設定温度220℃加熱5秒で行った場合、剪断強度は133.9N(N=8の平均、以下同様)である(図12)。(使用した強度計 イマダ DPS-201)
再溶着カシメ温度は、引っ張り試験において条件1の220℃加熱では強度が不十分であることが判明しているため、ここでは条件2の250℃加熱5秒で実施した。
この時の再溶着カシメ剪断強度は120.7N ばらつき範囲は101.1〜130.8Nであり安定して再溶着カシメされ、通常の溶着とほぼ同等の強度であった。これにより本実施例による再溶着カシメが実用に耐える強度を有することが確認できた。

- a.熱可塑性樹脂で成形された成形品側に溶着ボスを突設し、この溶着ボスを被固定物側に形成した固定孔に通し、この固定孔から突き出た溶着ボスの先端側を加熱溶融して被固定物の外側に膨大部を形成することにより、成形品に被固定物をカシメ留めした製品において、
b.前記膨大部の周囲であって、被固定物の表面において溶着ボスの外径より外に拡大している部分のみをカットして除去することにより溶着ボスの先端側を被固定物の表面上にそのまま残す工程、
c.前記カシメ留めされていた被固定物を溶着ボスから取り外したのち、再度当該被固定物を溶着ボスに取り付ける工程、
d.前記溶着ボスに被固定物を再取付けした後、被固定物から突出している溶着ボスの先端上に樹脂ペレットを戴置する工程、
e.発熱している溶着チップを前記樹脂ペレット上に押し当てながら押し下げることにより、前記樹脂ペレット及び溶着ボスを溶融してこの溶融した樹脂ペレットにより被固定物の表面に再度膨大部を形成し、カシメ留めを行う工程、
f.から成る一旦カシメ留めに利用された溶着ボスを用いて再度カシメ留めを行うカシメ留め方法。 - 前記カシメ留めされる被固定物は、旧被固定物に替えた新規被固定物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の一旦カシメ留めに利用された溶着ボスを用いて再度カシメ留めを行うカシメ留め方法。
- 前記再カシメ留めに使用される溶着チップの当接面には、溶着チップを押し当てて押し下げたときに、溶着ボスの先端に突き刺さり、溶着ボスの先端の溶融を助勢するための突起部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の一旦カシメ留めに利用された溶着ボスを用いて再度カシメ留めを行うカシメ留め方法。
- 前記膨大部をカットして除去する方法として、熱加熱により膨大部をカットする熱カットチップを用いることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の一旦カシメ留めに利用された溶着ボスを用いて再度カシメ留めを行うカシメ留め方法。
- 前記熱カットチップの中央には溶着ボスの先端に窪みを形成する突起部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の一旦カシメ留めに利用された溶着ボスを用いて再度カシメ留めを行うカシメ留め方法。
- 前記樹脂チップの下面には、溶着ボスの先端の面に形成された窪みに係合する凸部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の一旦カシメ留めに利用された溶着ボスを用いて再度カシメ留めを行うカシメ留め方法。
