Abstract
【解決手段】白色発光ダイオードは、青色発光LEDチップ130と、前記青色発光LEDチップ130の上に所定の配合比で塗布されて、前記青色発光LEDチップ130から放出される光を白色光に変換するための黄色発光蛍光体160a、緑色発光蛍光体160b及び赤色発光蛍光体160cと、を含む。

Claims (13)
- 青色発光LEDチップと、
前記青色発光LEDチップの上に所定の配合比で塗布されて、前記青色発光LEDチップから放出される光を白色光に変換するための黄色、緑色及び赤色発光蛍光体と、を含む白色発光ダイオード。 - 前記黄色発光蛍光体は、珪酸塩系蛍光体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記緑色発光蛍光体は、珪酸塩系又は硫化物系蛍光体であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記緑色発光蛍光体を構成する前記珪酸塩系蛍光体として、(Ba,Sr,Ca,Mg)2SiO4:Eu,Reを利用することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記緑色発光蛍光体を構成する前記硫化物系蛍光体として、(Sr,Ca)Ga2S4:Eu,Reを利用することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記赤色発光蛍光体は、窒化物系又は硫化物系蛍光体であることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一つに記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記赤色発光蛍光体を構成する前記窒化物系蛍光体として、(Sr,Ca,Ba)AlSiN:Eu,Reを利用することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記赤色発光蛍光体を構成する前記硫化物系蛍光体として、(Sr,Ca)S:Eu,Reを利用することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記黄色、緑色及び赤色発光蛍光体の配合比は、0.5≦黄色発光蛍光体<1、0.01<緑色発光蛍光体≦0.4、0.01<赤色発光蛍光体≦0.1であり、ただし、黄色発光蛍光体+緑色発光蛍光体+赤色発光蛍光体=1であることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一つに記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記黄色、緑色及び赤色発光蛍光体は、互いに混合されて散在していることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一つに記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記黄色、緑色及び赤色発光蛍光体は、レイヤー形態で順次積層されていることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一つに記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記黄色、緑色及び赤色発光蛍光体は、モールディング材と共に混合されて塗布されていることを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか一つに記載の白色発光ダイオード。
- 前記モールディング材は、シリコーン(silicone)、ハイブリッド(hybrid)、エポキシ(epoxy)及びポリビニール(polyvinyl)系レジンで構成された群から選択された何れか一つからなることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の白色発光ダイオード。
