Abstract
【解決手段】エンジン回転により駆動されるオイルポンプ354からの潤滑油は、機械式圧力弁240Aを介して、モータ216のロータ214へ冷媒として供給される。機械式圧力弁240Aは、潤滑油圧力が所定未満では閉弁し所定以上で開弁するように構成される。この結果、ロータ回転数が上昇するもののロータの温度上昇は小さいためにロータ冷却の必要性が低い、エンジン低回転・高負荷時に、ロータ214への潤滑油供給を停止できる。

Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係る電動過給機が搭載されるエンジンシステムの構成図である。
図2を参照して、実施の形態1に係る電動過給機は、ECU251、過給機EDU330、過給機200、モータ216、オイルパン352、オイルポンプ354、潤滑油供給路242および排出路244を含んで構成される。
図4は、実施の形態2に係る電動過給機の構成図である。
Claims (7)
- 内燃機関の排気を利用して回転することによって前記内燃機関の吸気を圧縮するように構成された過給機と、
前記過給機の回転軸と連結されたロータを有する回転電機と、
前記回転電機を冷却するための冷媒を供給する冷媒供給装置とを備え、
前記冷媒供給装置は、前記内燃機関の回転数の増大に応じて、前記冷媒供給装置による前記回転電機への冷媒供給量を増大させる冷却制御手段を含む、電動過給機。 - 前記冷媒供給装置は、
前記内燃機関の回転数の増大に応じて供給する前記冷媒の圧力が増大するように構成された冷媒供給ポンプを含み、
前記冷却制御手段は、
前記冷媒供給ポンプから前記回転電機への冷媒供給通路上に設けられ、前記冷媒の圧力の増大に応じて開弁される圧力弁を有する、請求項1記載の電動過給機。 - 前記冷媒は前記内燃機関の潤滑油であり、
前記電動過給機への冷媒供給通路は、
前記過給機の回転軸の軸受部と前記冷媒との間で熱交換可能なように形成された第1の通路と、
前記回転電機のロータと前記冷媒との間で熱交換可能なように形成された第2の通路とに分岐され、
前記圧力弁は、前記第2の通路に設けられる、請求項2記載の電動過給機。 - 前記冷却制御手段は、前記内燃機関の回転数の増大に加えて、前記内燃機関の負荷の増大に応じて、前記冷媒供給装置による前記回転電機への冷媒供給量を増大させる、請求項1記載の電動過給機。
- 前記冷媒供給装置は、
前記内燃機関の回転数の増大に応じて供給する前記冷媒の圧力が増大するように構成された冷媒供給ポンプを含み、
前記冷却制御手段は、
前記冷媒供給ポンプから前記回転電機への冷媒供給通路上に設けられた開度調整弁と、
前記内燃機関の回転数および負荷の増大に応じて、前記開度調整弁の開度を増大させるための制御部とを有する、請求項4記載の電動過給機。 - 前記冷媒は前記内燃機関の潤滑油であり、
前記電動過給機への冷媒供給通路は、
前記過給機の回転軸の軸受部と前記冷媒との間で熱交換可能なように形成された第1の通路と、
前記回転電機のロータと前記冷媒との間で熱交換可能なように形成された第2の通路とに分岐され、
前記開度調整弁は、前記第2の通路に設けられる、請求項5記載の電動過給機。 - 前記冷媒は前記内燃機関の潤滑油であり、
前記冷媒供給ポンプは、
前記内燃機関の回転軸により駆動されて、オイルパンに蓄積された前記潤滑油を出力するオイルポンプである、請求項2または5に記載の電動過給機。
