Claims (20)
- 電気泳動ディスプレイの一部を活性化する方法であって:
描画情報を受け入れる段階;
前記描画情報に基づいて少なくとも1つの描画モード波形を決定する段階;並びに
前記描画情報及び前記描画モード波形に基づいて前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部にアドレッシングする段階;
を有する方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記受け入れる描画情報はキーボード入力を有する、方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法であって、前記キーボード入力はキーボード又はキーパッドの一から受け入れる、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記受け入れる描画情報は描画入力を有する、方法。
- 請求項4に記載の方法であって、前記描画入力はタッチスクリーンから受け入れる、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記受け入れる描画情報はポインタ入力を有する、方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法であって、前記ポインタ入力は、マウス、curs又はジェネレータの一から受け入れる、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記少なくとも1つの描画モード波形を決定する段階は:
前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部における少なくとも1つの電気泳動画素の現光学状態及び前記描画情報に基づいて記憶されている駆動波形の集合から前記描画モード波形を選択する段階;
を有する方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記描画モード波形はルックアップテーブルから選択される、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部にアドレッシングする段階は:
前記電気泳動ディスプレイにおける少なくとも1つの電気泳動画素に画像を書き込むように、所定回数、前記決定された描画モード波形を適用する段階;
を有する方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部にアドレッシングする段階は:
前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部における少なくとも1つの電気泳動画素に画素データを書き込む段階;
を有する方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって:
前記受け入れる描画情報に基づいて画素情報を記憶する段階;及び
前記記憶された画素情報に基づいて前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部にアドレッシングする段階;
を有する方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法であって、前記記憶された画素情報は、画素インデックス、画素の色レベル、画素座標及び画素カウンタを有する群の少なくとも一を有する、方法。
- 請求項12に記載の方法であって:
前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部がアドレッシングされるとき、前記記憶された画素情報を更新する段階;
を更に有する方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって:
前記受け入れる描画情報及び前記描画モード波形に基づいて前記電気泳動ディスプレイにおける画素の第1集合にアドレッシングする段階;並びに
前記受け入れる描画情報及び第2描画モード波形に基づいて前記電気泳動ディスプレイにおける画素の第2集合にアドレッシングする段階;
を更に有する方法であり、
前記第2描画モード波形は、画素の前記第1集合のための画像更新の終了に先立って画素の前記第2集合に適用される;
方法。 - 電気泳動ディスプレイの一部を活性化するためのシステムであって:
背面板に備えられた電気泳動画素アレイ;
描画情報を受け入れるための手段;
前記描画情報に基づいて少なくとも1つの描画モード波形を決定するための手段;並びに
前記描画情報及び前記描画モード波形に基づいて前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部にアドレッシングするための手段;
を有するシステム。 - 請求項16に記載のシステムであって:
前記受け入れる描画情報に基づいて画素情報を記憶するための手段;及び
前記記憶された画素情報に基づいて前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部にアドレッシングするための手段;
を有するシステム。 - 請求項17に記載のシステムであって:
前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部がアドレッシングされるとき、前記記憶された画素情報を更新するための手段;
を更に有するシステム。 - 電気泳動ディスプレイであって:
背面板に備えられた電気泳動画素アレイ;
前記電気泳動画素アレイの行の集合に電気的に接続された行ドライバ;
前記電気泳動画素アレイの列の集合に電気的に接続されたドライバ;及び
前記行ドライバ及び前記列ドライバに電気的に接続された制御器;
を有する電気泳動ディスプレイであり、
前記制御器は、描画情報に基づいて少なくとも1つの描画モード波形を決定し;
前記制御器は、前記電気泳動ディスプレイにおける少なくとも1つの電気泳動画素に画像を書き込むように前記描画情報及び前記描画モード波形に基づいて、前記電気泳動ディスプレイの一部にアドレッシングする;
電気泳動ディスプレイ。 - 請求項19に記載の電気泳動ディスプレイであって、前記制御器は、前記電気泳動ディスプレイの前記一部についての描画情報を受け入れる、電気泳動ディスプレイ。
