Description
従って、誘電体からの照射は1つのセクションではより局所的になる。第2セクションからより大きいエネンルギーを照射するように設計されることが好ましい。
図面を参照して、実施例を使って本発明を説明する。
図1で示される照射アプリケータは同軸ケーブル1を有する。同ケーブルは剛体でもフレキシブルでもよく、一端は図示しないマイクロ波電源に接続され、他端は照射チップ2で終端している。同チップ2は3つのセクション3、4、5を持つ円筒形誘電体から構成されている。同セクションは軸上に並んで、セクションの間のインターフェース部で相互に接触し連続体を形成している。
1つの外部セクション3は同軸ケーブル1の端部に接続されている。セクション3の一端部の一部分6の直径が削られ、同軸ケーブルの外側導体7に短い長さ挿入され確実に接続されている。同軸ケーブルの中心部導体8は本体2の軸穴9を通して3つのセクションを介して延長し、外側の第3セクション5で終端している。組み立てにおいて、メタルワッシャー10はセクション4のインターフェース部でセクション3に溶接され、中心部導体8に溶接される。第2メタルワッシャー11は第3セクション5とのインターフェース部で中央セクション4に溶接され、中央部導体8に溶接される。ワッシャー10と11は中心部導体8を介して誘電体の2つのセクション3,4を同軸ケーブル1の端部に固定する。第3セクション5は第2ワッシャーと中心部導体8に接合される(bonded)。
Claims (13)
- 1端部における電力入力部と、その端部でその軸上に延びる細長いアンテナと、アンテナを取り巻き、周辺物質にアンテナの半径方向に照射を行う誘電体とを有し、前記誘電体は異なる誘電率の複数セクションから構成され、アンテナに沿って軸方向に互いに配置されていることを特徴とする照射アプリケータ。
- 前記誘電体が照射を行うように構成された第2セクションと、前記第2セクションと電極入力部と間に第1セクションとを有し、その誘電率は第2セクションの誘電率より低いことを特徴とする請求項1記載の照射アプリケータ。
- 前記誘電体は電力入力部から遠い外側セクションを有し、その誘電率は、第2セクションの誘電率より低いことを特徴とする請求項2記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記外側セクションの誘電率は第1と第2セクションの誘電率の中間であることを特徴とする請求項3記載のアプリケータ。
- 複数セクションが別々の部材から構成され、端部端部相互に接してアセンブルされることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4の何れか一記載のアプリケータ。
- 照射リフレクタを誘電体の2つのセクション間のインターフェースに配置し、照射伝播を変調しアプリケータをチューンすることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5の何れか一記載のアプリケータ。
- 照射リフレクタが周辺物質に照射を行うように構成されたセクションの各側に設けられ、電力入力部から遠い側のリフレクタの面積は電力入力部に近い側のリフレクタの面積より広く、アプリケータのチップへの照射伝播を低減することを特徴とする請求項6記載のアプリケータ。
- 1つの端部に設けられた電力入力部と、周辺物質を照射するために末端へ軸方向に延びる細長いアンテナとを有し、照射の送信を変調するために1つ又は複数の照射リフレクタが誘電体内でアンテナに沿って軸方向に配置されることを特徴とするアプリケータ。
- 周辺物質に照射を行うように2つのリフレクタは誘電体の中間セクションに関し離間して配置され、電力入力部から遠い側のリフレクタの面積は電力入力部に近い側のリフレクタの面積より広く、アプリケータのチップへの照射伝播を低減することを特徴とする請求項8記載のアプリケータ。
- 各リフレクタは誘電体の別々のセクションの間のインターフェースに配置され、アプリケータに対し構造上のサポートを与えることを特徴とする請求項6ないし9の何れか一記載のアプリケータ。
- 電力入力部から遠い誘電体の外側端部が尖っていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし10の何れか一記載のアプリケータ。
- 電力入力部が、中心導体が外部導体から延長し前記細長いアンテナを形成する同軸ケーブルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし11のいずれか一項記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記誘電体は縮小された直径を持ち、外部導電体のオープンエンドに挿入されることを特徴とする請求項12記載のアプリケータ。
