● 比較的高い炭素含有量(約0.8〜1.2%、好ましくは約0.9〜1.1%)とし、かつタンタル対炭素のモル比Ta/Cが0.9未満で0.3以上、好ましくは0.35となるようなタンタル含有量とした場合。この場合のミクロ組織は、粒界にTaCのみが残るように、1150℃を超える高温で固溶体として溶け込み易いM23C6炭化物を含む粒界炭化物の非常に高密度なネットワークを有する。

実施例8〜12
製造した種々の合金(以下の表3はその化学的組成を示す)について行った試験は、ZrC炭化物による利点(耐熱性と優れたミクロ組織安定性)と、TaC炭化物の利点(低製造コストと優れた高温酸化性)と組合わされる。

Claims (16)
- モリブデンおよび/またはタングステンを含まず、炭化物の析出により強化されたクロム含有マトリックスを含み、酸化性媒体中で高温での機械的強度を有する合金であって、
チタン、ジルコニウムおよびハフニウムから選択される少なくとも1つの金属(M)の炭化物を含み、該炭化物は任意にタンタル(M')を更に含むことを特徴とする合金。 - コバルトまたはニッケルまたは鉄−ニッケルに基づくマトリックスを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の合金。
- 0.2質量%以上、特に0.6質量%以上の炭素を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の合金。
- 金属/炭素のモル比 (M+M')/Cが約0.9〜2、特に0.9〜1.5である、金属Mと任意にM'とを含むことを特徴とする、前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載の合金。

- Hf/C比は1未満であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の合金。
- タンタル含有量は約1〜7%、特に約2〜6%であることを特徴とする、前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載の合金。
- 特に鋳造により、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の合金から製造される、特にガラスの高温精錬または転化で使用される物品。
- 合金が鋳造された後、鍛造操作を受けた請求項11に記載の物品。
- 鉱質ウールの製造のための繊維化スピナーからなる、請求項11および12のいずれか1項に記載の物品。
- 適当な鋳型への溶融合金の鋳造を含む、請求項11〜13の物品の製造方法。
- 溶融鉱質材料の流れが繊維化スピナーに注がれ、該繊維化スピナーの周囲バンドに開口した多数のオリフィスを介して溶融鉱質材料が漏れ出て、次にガスの作用により細くされてウールになる、内部遠心分離により鉱質ウールを製造する方法であって、スピナー中の鉱質材料の温度は少なくとも1200℃であり、繊維化スピナーは請求項1〜10のいずれかのコバルトベースの合金から製造されることを特徴とする方法。
- 溶融鉱質材料は、約1130℃以上、特に1170℃以上の液相線温度を有することを特徴とする、請求項15の方法。
