Claims (34)

- 前記絶縁層が、約350mm2/s(350cSt)未満の動粘度を有するシール材料を更に備える、請求項2に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記多孔質の絶縁材料が、少なくとも1つのセラミック材料を備える、請求項2に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記実質的にシールされた絶縁層が、0.025センチメートル(0.01インチ)未満の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の電気手術器具。

- 前記疎水性材料が、前記絶縁層の全体の厚さの少なくとも約10%に浸透する、請求項7に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記疎水性材料が、ポリジオルガノシロキサンおよびそれから誘導される材料からなる群のうちの少なくとも1つの材料からなる、請求項8に記載の電気手術器具。

- 前記周縁部分が、前記本体部分の最大の横断面厚さの約1/10未満の厚さを有する、請求項13に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記絶縁コーティングが、前記周縁部分以外の前記金属本体の全体を実質的に覆っている、請求項12に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記金属本体がステンレス鋼からなる、請求項10に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記金属本体が、約300°Kで測定したとき、少なくとも約0.35W/cm °Kの熱伝導率を有する、請求項10に記載の電気手術器具。

- 前記少なくとも1つの第2の金属層が、約300°Kで測定したとき、少なくとも約2W/cm °Kの熱伝導率を有する、請求項19に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第2の金属層が、金、アルミニウム、銀、および銅からなる群から選択された第2の材料を備える、請求項21に記載の電気手術器具。
- 少なくとも1つの実質的に金属の要素と、
多孔質の絶縁材料およびシール材料を含み、該少なくとも1つの実質的に金属の要素の少なくとも一部分上に配置された絶縁層とからなり、該シール材料が、該絶縁層の少なくとも外側表面を実質的にシールし、かつ該多孔質の絶縁材料の少なくとも一部分に浸透する電気手術器具。 - 前記多孔質の絶縁材料が、少なくとも1つのセラミック材料からなる、請求項23に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記シール材料が、実質的に疎水性の材料からなる、請求項24に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記シール材料が、ケイ酸塩、ケイ酸塩を含む溶液、および硬化するとケイ酸塩を形成する溶液からなる群のうちの少なくとも1つを備える、請求項25に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記シール材料が、前記絶縁層の全体の厚さの少なくとも約10パーセントに浸透する、請求項26に記載の電気手術器具。
- 前記実質的にシールされた絶縁層が、0.025センチメートル(0.01インチ)未満の厚さを有する、請求項23に記載の電気手術器具。
