Abstract
【解決手段】必要とされたときにリソース(たとえば、補助チャンネル)を迅速に割当て、必要とされないときにはリソースの割当てを迅速に解除するか、あるいはシステム安定性を維持するメカニズムが提供される。逆方向リンクリソースは、順方向および逆方向リンク上の制御チャンネルで交換されるショートメッセージによって迅速に割当てられ、あるいは割当て解除されることができる。信頼性の高い肯定/否定応答方式および効率的な再送信方式が提供される。高い性能を達成すると共に不安定性を回避するために遠隔端末の送信パワーおよび、またはデータレートを制御するメカニズムもまた提供される。

Claims (30)
- データおよびシグナリングを逆方向リンクで送信するように構成可能な逆方向基本チャンネルと、
逆方向リンクで送信されるパケットデータに割当て可能であり、構成可能である逆方向補助チャンネルと、
シグナリングを逆方向リンクで送信するように構成可能な逆方向制御チャンネルと、
特定の遠隔端末に対する逆方向リンクに第1および第2のパワー制御ストリームを送信するように構成可能な順方向パワー制御チャンネルとを備えており、
第1のパワー制御ストリームは、少なくとも1つの別の逆方向リンクチャンネルと組合わされて逆方向補助チャンネルの送信パワーを制御するために使用され、
第2のパワー制御ストリームは、逆方向補助チャンネルの送信特性を制御するために使用される無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおけるデータ送信をサポートすることのできるチャンネル構造。 - 第2のパワー制御ストリームは、指定された逆方向リンクチャンネルの送信パワーに関して逆方向補助チャンネルの送信パワーを制御するために使用される請求項1記載のチャンネル構造。
- 第2のパワー制御ストリームは、逆方向補助チャンネルのデータレートを制御するために使用される請求項1記載のチャンネル構造。
- さらに、逆方向リンクでのパケットデータ送信の受信された状態を示すシグナリングを順方向リンクで送信するように構成可能な順方向肯定応答チャンネルを有している請求項1記載のチャンネル構造。
- 順方向肯定応答チャンネルは、逆方向補助チャンネルで送信された各データフレームに対する肯定応答または否定応答を送信するように構成可能である請求項4記載のチャンネル構造。
- 送信された各データフレームに対する肯定応答または否定応答は、順方向肯定応答チャンネルで複数回送信される請求項5記載のチャンネル構造。
- 逆方向制御チャンネルは、逆方向補助チャンネルの割当ておよび割当て解除を行うために使用されたシグナリングを送信するように構成可能である請求項1記載のチャンネル構造。
- さらに、逆方向リンクでのパケットデータ送信に関する逆方向リンク情報を送信するように構成可能な逆方向レートインジケータチャンネルを備えている請求項1記載のチャンネル構造。
- データおよびシグナリングを逆方向リンクで送信するように構成可能な逆方向基本チャンネルと、
逆方向リンクで送信されるパケットデータに割当て可能であり、構成可能である逆方向補助チャンネルと、
シグナリングを逆方向リンクで送信するように構成可能な逆方向制御チャンネルと、
特定の遠隔端末に対する逆方向リンクに第1および第2のパワー制御ストリームを送信するように構成可能な順方向パワー制御チャンネルとを備えており、
第1のパワー制御ストリームは、少なくとも1つの別の逆方向リンクチャンネルと組合わされて逆方向補助チャンネルの送信パワーを制御するために使用され、
第2のパワー制御ストリームは、遠隔端末のグループの送信特性を制御するように構成されている無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおけるデータ送信をサポートすることのできるチャンネル構造。 - 第2のパワー制御ストリームは、遠隔端末のグループの送信パワーまたはデータレートを同様に制御するために使用される請求項9記載のチャンネル構造。
- 第2のパワー制御ストリームは、遠隔端末のグループに割当てられた逆方向補助チャンネルでの送信をエネーブルし、ディスエーブルするために使用される請求項9記載のチャンネル構造。
- データのフレームをデータチャンネルによって逆方向リンクで送信し、
そのデータフレームをバッファ中に一時的に保存し、
送信されたデータフレームの受信された状態を示す順方向リンクでのメッセージを監視し、
受信されたメッセージに基づいてデータフレームを処理するステップを含んでいる無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおけるデータ送信方法。 - 処理するステップは、
送信されたデータフレームが不正確に受信されたことをメッセージが示している場合、データフレームを再送信するステップを含んでいる請求項12記載の方法。 - 処理するステップは、
送信されたデータフレームが正しく受信されたことをメッセージが示している場合、データフレームをバッファから廃棄するステップを含んでいる請求項12記載の方法。 - 処理するステップは、
メッセージが適切に検出されない場合、データフレームをバッファ中に保存するステップを含んでいる請求項12記載の方法。 - メッセージの第2の送信を監視するステップをさらに含み、
データフレームの処理は、そのデータフレームに対して受信された1以上のメッセージに基づいている請求項12記載の方法。 - そのデータフレームに対して受信されたメッセージを組合せてさらに信頼性の高いメッセージを提供するステップをさらに含んでいる請求項16記載の方法。

- データのフレームをデータチャンネルによって逆方向リンクで送信し、
そのデータフレームをバッファ中に一時的に保存し、
送信されたデータフレームの受信された状態を示す順方向リンクにおけるメッセージを監視し、
送信されたデータフレームが不正確に受信されたことをメッセージが示している場合、そのデータフレームを再送信し、
送信されたデータフレームが正しく受信されたことをメッセージが示している場合、そのデータフレームをバッファから廃棄し、
メッセージが適切に検出されない場合、そのデータフレームをバッファ中に保存するステップを含んでいる無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおけるデータ送信方法。 - 少なくとも1つの別の逆方向リンクチャンネルと組合せて補助チャンネルの送信パワーを制御する第1のパワー制御ストリームを受信し、
補助チャンネルの送信特性を制御するために第2のパワー制御ストリームを受信し、
補助チャンネルの送信パワーおよび特性を第1および第2のパワー制御ストリームに基づいて調節するステップを含んでいる無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおける補助チャンネルの送信パワー制御方法。 - 第2のパワー制御ストリームは指定された逆方向リンクチャンネルの送信パワーに関して補助チャンネルの送信パワーを制御する請求項22記載の方法。
- 第2のパワー制御ストリームは、補助チャンネルのデータレートを制御する請求項22記載の方法。
- 第2のパワー制御ストリームは、補助チャンネルでの送信をエネーブルし、ディスエーブルする請求項22記載の方法。
- 補助チャンネルの送信パワーは、第1のパワー制御ストリームではなく第2のパワー制御ストリームに応答して大きいステップにより調節される請求項22記載の方法。
- 第2のパワー制御ストリームは、複数の遠隔端末に割当てられる請求項22記載の方法。
- 複数の遠隔端末に対する補助チャンネルは、第2のパワー制御ストリームにより類似した方法で制御される請求項28記載の方法。
- 逆方向基本チャンネルにおけるデータおよびシグナリングと、割当てられた逆方向補助チャンネルにおけるデータパケットと、逆方向制御チャンネルにおけるシグナリングと、逆方向インジケータチャンネルにおけるパケットデータ送信に関する情報とを処理して送信するように構成可能な送信データプロセッサと、
複数のパワー制御ストリームを順方向パワー制御チャンネルで受信するように構成可能な受信データプロセッサと、
送信および受信データプロセッサに結合されて動作し、複数のパワー制御ストリームに基づいて逆方向補助チャンネルの1以上の送信特性を制御するように構成された制御装置とを備えている無線通信システムの遠隔端末。 - 受信データプロセッサはさらに、逆方向補助チャンネルにおけるパケットデータ送信の受信された状態を示すシグナリングを順方向肯定応答チャンネルで受信するように構成可能である請求項29記載の遠隔端末。
