Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の液晶装置は、内面に多数のプリズム形状を有すると共に外面に平坦面を有する導光管140を備え、光源120から該導光管内に入射された光を前記内面から取り込んで前記平坦面から出射する面光源装置と、前記導光管の平坦面上に配置された光学シート180と、を含んで構成されるバックライトユニットを、液晶パネル200の背面側に配置したことを特徴とする。

Claims (19)
- 内面に多数のプリズム形状を有すると共に外面に平坦面を有する導光管を備え、光源から該導光管内に入射された光を前記内面から前記平坦面を通し出射する面光源装置と、
前記導光管の平坦面上に配置された光学シートと、
を含んで構成されるバックライトユニットを、
液晶パネル背面側に配置したことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記面光源装置は、前記光源として発光ダイオードを実装した印刷回路基板を保持するハウジングを、前記導光管の端面に配置してあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記面光源装置は、前記導光管の背面側に反射シートを配置してあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記面光源装置は、前記光源として冷陰極蛍光ランプまたは外部電極蛍光ランプを備え、当該光源を、前記導光管内に挿通してあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記面光源装置の導光管は、散乱粒子を内部に分散させた透光性樹脂母材からなる散光層を少なくとも前記平坦面に有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記面光源装置の導光管は、その内側または外側に、前記平坦面側へ光を反射する反射体を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 内面に多数のプリズム形状を有すると共に外面に平坦面を有する導光管を備え、光源から該導光管内に入射された光を前記内面から前記平坦面を通し出射する面光源装置を含んで構成されることを特徴とする液晶パネル用のバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光管の平坦面上に配置された光学シートをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記面光源装置は、前記光源として発光ダイオードを実装した印刷回路基板を保持するハウジングを、前記導光管の端面に配置してあることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記面光源装置は、前記導光管の背面側に反射シートを配置してあることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記面光源装置は、前記光源として冷陰極蛍光ランプまたは外部電極蛍光ランプを備え、当該光源を、前記導光管内に挿通してあることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記面光源装置の導光管は、散乱粒子を内部に分散させた透光性樹脂母材からなる散光層を少なくとも前記平坦面に有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記散乱粒子がビーズであることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記面光源装置の導光管は、その内側または外側に、前記平坦面側へ光を反射する反射体を有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 内面に多数のプリズム形状を有すると共に外面に平坦面を有する導光管を備え、光源から該導光管内に入射された光を前記内面から前記平坦面を通し出射することを特徴とする面光源装置。
- 前記光源として発光ダイオードを実装した印刷回路基板を保持するハウジングを、前記導光管の端面に配置してあることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記光源として冷陰極蛍光ランプまたは外部電極蛍光ランプを備え、当該光源を、前記導光管内に挿通してあることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記導光管は、散乱粒子を内部に分散させた透光性樹脂母材からなる散光層を少なくとも前記平坦面に有することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記導光管は、その内側または外側に、前記平坦面側へ光を反射する反射体を有することを特徴とする請求項18に記載の面光源装置。
