Abstract
【解決手段】 情報保存媒体上の各領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能であるか指定する互換性情報が記録される互換性情報領域を有する情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生する方法であって、前記情報保存媒体上の各領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能か指定する前記互換性情報を読み出すステップと、前記互換性情報を参照して前記情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生するステップとを有し、前記情報保存媒体に対する他の記録防止手段が存在する場合、前記情報保存媒体の記録防止は、前記他の記録防止手段及び前記互換性情報に対してOR演算を実行した結果に基づき決定される方法が提供される。

Claims (7)
- 情報保存媒体上の各領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能であるか指定する互換性情報が記録される互換性情報領域を有する情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生する方法であって、
前記情報保存媒体上の各領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能か指定する前記互換性情報を読み出すステップと、
前記互換性情報を参照して前記情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生するステップと、
を有し、
前記情報保存媒体に対する他の記録防止手段が存在する場合、前記情報保存媒体の記録防止は、前記他の記録防止手段及び前記互換性情報に対してOR演算を実行した結果に基づき決定される方法。 - 前記互換性情報は、前記互換性情報領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能であるかに関する状態情報と、欠陥管理領域(DMA)が記録可能及び/又は再生可能であるかに関する状態情報との少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記情報保存媒体に対するデータの記録及び/又は再生は、前記互換性情報が前記情報保存媒体が記録可能及び/又は再生可能でないと示す場合、前記情報保存媒体が記録可能及び/又は再生可能でないと示すエラーメッセージをホストに送信するステップを有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記情報保存媒体に対するデータの記録及び/又は再生は、前記情報保存媒体にデータを記録する際に記録防止フラグが前記情報保存媒体に設定されている場合、前記データが前記情報保存媒体に記録されることを禁止するため、前記互換性情報に対して前記記録防止フラグを優先させるステップを有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生する方法を可能にするプログラムが記録されるコンピュータ可読記録媒体であって、
前記方法は、
前記情報保存媒体上の各領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能か指定する前記互換性情報を読み出すステップと、
前記互換性情報を参照して前記情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生するステップと、
を有し、
前記情報保存媒体に対する他の記録防止手段が存在する場合、前記情報保存媒体の記録防止は、前記他の記録防止手段及び前記互換性情報に対してOR演算を実行した結果に基づき決定されるコンピュータ可読記録媒体。 - 情報保存媒体上の各領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能であるか指定する互換性情報が記録される互換性情報領域を有する情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生する方法であって、
前記情報保存媒体上の各領域が記録可能及び/又は再生可能か指定する前記互換性情報を読み出すステップと、
前記情報保存媒体に対しデータを記録及び/又は再生するステップと、
を有し、
前記情報保存媒体の記録防止は、前記情報保存媒体が含まれるカートリッジの記録防止ホール情報と、記録防止フラグと、前記互換性情報とに対してOR演算を実行した結果に基づき決定される方法。 - 前記情報保存媒体に対するデータの記録及び/又は再生は、前記記録防止ホール情報と、前記記録防止フラグと、前記互換性情報との少なくとも1つが、前記情報保存媒体を記録防止する場合、前記データが前記情報保存媒体に記録されることが禁止されると判断するステップを有する、請求項6記載の方法。
