Abstract
【解決手段】 基端から尖った針先14に達する湾曲した軸状の本体部11を備え、該本体部11の結晶構造が軸方向に伸びたファイバー組織bを有するオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼からなり、前記基端面11aから軸方向に伸びる穴12を備えたアイレス縫合針において、前記基端の穴12周辺部を加熱して結晶構造を方向性のない粒状組織aとし、前記ファイバー組織と前記粒状組織との間に形成された前記加熱による熱影響部cの少なくとも一部が、前記穴12の有効底面12cを基点とし、前記縫合針の針先方向へ向けた長さであって、前記縫合針の径の3倍の長さの範囲に位置している。

Description
なお、穴の近くといっても、使用上穴の底部から縫合針の径の3倍程度以上針先側を把持する傾向にあるということが分かっている。
また、前記本体部の前記基端面から針長さ1/4の位置では、粒状組織の結晶構造は位置していなく、熱影響部かもしくはファイバー組織の結晶構造が位置している構成とすることができる。
また、本発明では、熱影響部cが、本体部11の基端面11aから針長さの1/4程度までの範囲に位置し、基端面11aから針長さ1/4より針先側の位置では、結晶構造がファイバー組織となっているようにしている。

Claims (1)
- 基端から尖った針先に達する湾曲した軸状の本体部を備え、該本体部の結晶構造が軸方向に伸びたファイバー組織を有するオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼からなり、前記基端面から軸方向に伸びる穴を備えたアイレス縫合針において、前記基端の穴周辺部を加熱して結晶構造を方向性のない粒状組織とし、前記ファイバー組織と前記粒状組織との間に形成された前記加熱による熱影響部の少なくとも一部が、前記穴の有効底面を基点とし、前記縫合針の針先方向へ向けた長さであって、前記縫合針の径の3倍の長さの範囲に位置していることを特徴とするアイレス縫合針。
