Abstract
【解決手段】吸着剤材料の多孔性固定層が、粒状の吸着剤と非水溶性の熱可塑性結合剤だけを使用して形成される。結果として生じる複合フィルタは、従来のデプスフィルタよりも更に小さい吸着剤粒子を有する更に多量の吸着剤を可能にする。セルロース繊維の除去、及び水溶性の熱硬化性結合剤の除去は、プロセス液体の汚染物質の減少をもたらす。その結果、外来性汚染物質を減少させるための広範囲にわたる事前洗浄はもはや必要ない。向上した材料性能は、吸着剤材料の含有量を増加させること、及び/又は吸着のために利用可能な表面積を最大化するための更に小さい吸着剤材料を使用することによって得られる。

Claims (9)
- 吸着剤、及び前記吸着剤を結合する非水溶性結合剤を含み、前記複合材料がセルロースを実質的に欠くことを特徴とする、フィルタ複合材料。
- 前記吸着剤が珪藻土、シリカ、ガラス、ゼオライト、及び活性炭から成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記吸着剤が珪藻土である、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記結合剤がポリオレフィンを含む、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記結合剤がポリエチレン、及びポリプロピレンを含む、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記複合材料は、前記結合剤が少なくとも部分的に融解、又は軟化して前記複合材料を熱的に結合する温度まで前記吸着剤と前記結合剤を加熱することによって形成される、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記結合剤と前記吸着剤が重量で約1:1から約1:3の割合である、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 樹脂結合剤を実質的に欠く、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- バイオリアクタ、及び前記バイオリアクタの下流の無菌フィルタを含み、吸着剤、及び前記吸着剤を結合する非水溶性結合剤を含むフィルタ複合材料を更に含み、前記複合材料がセルロースを実質的に欠き、前記フィルタ複合材料が前記バイオリアクタの下流で前記無菌フィルタの上流にあることを特徴とする、バイオ医薬品浄化システム。
